The tower Buffy had drawn almost two years ago related to The Prophecy. The issue was, she was currently tied up at the top of it.
Waiting for Glory would bleed her dry.
For some reason, the place where her blood was literally open the walls of dimensions was also related to The Fallen Slayer Prophecy coming true.
It was the worst possible scenario.
Elena glanced down, staring at the ground 60 feet below.
The tower wasn't exactly well built.
It was barely holding together.
She could see right through the floor of the tower, allowing her to watch as Glory's minions continued to work intently in preparation for the portal to be opened.
Taking in a deep breath, Elena glanced up at the sky, unable to look down any longer. She had never been scared of heights but being on this tower, which looked like it could fall apart at any moment was making her a little petrified.
Plus, knowing that in all likely hood that the portal opening would cause Buffy's doom didn't help with her fear.
As the minion who had been sent up with her, tightened the ropes around her hands Elena blinked back tears as she tried to think.
Glory had revealed that her blood would open the portal, and her death would also close it. So she needed to figure out how to get off the tower before the bleeding began.
Before Buffy could come up to get her and unknowingly triggered her own doom.
"She will come to you soon."

"I don't recall inviting you over."
Rolling his eyes at Klaus's words, Damon merely strolled into the Hybrid's art studio rolling his eyes as he spotted the painting of Buffy in the center of the room.
If anyone was obsessed with Buffy it was Klaus, not him.
"Would have called but you know... end of the world and all that."
Klaus chuckled slightly as he lowered his paintbrush. He may dislike Damon, but he could be quite entertaining...to a certain degree.
"What can I do for you, Damon?" He asked curiously as moved across the room, heading to the bar so he could pour himself a much-needed drink.
At Klaus's laid-back attitude, Damon frowned slightly.
The Hybrid seemed genuinely confused as to why he was here, which made no sense.
He would have thought that given Klaus knew what was happening with Glory he would have at least expected either himself or Stefan to show up.
It was honestly quite disconcerting that he wasn't acting all smug right now.
"Well, you know Demon God high jinks ensue, figured you'd actually wanna save The Key to making your hybrid army. No pun intended."
Klaus paused for a moment, stunned that Damon had actually come to him for help against Glory.
It was almost funny...almost.
Except for the fact that he had a very specific plan, one that meant he needed to stay clear of the ritual.
After years of trying to fix Mary's mistake, everything was finally back on course and he would not let some young vampire ruin something 800 years in the making.
"You're asking for my help." Klaus chuckled before speeding over to Damon and standing right in front of him "And why is that?"
Damon scoffed before stating the obvious, still not having realized what was truly happening yet.
He still had no idea why this ritual was so important, not just to Glory...but to Klaus.
"Elena and Buffy could die...both people you need..."
"I know exactly how this will end. I've known about this day for 800 years."
