Buffy grunted as her fist flew at the punching bag in front of her.

She had made the top floor of the witch house her own personal space. Considering what had happened with Elena on the bridge, she sorely doubted she was allowed to stay there. And she didn't want to push her luck with Rudy. Crashing twice a week at the Bennett house was already pushing it.

Though, she seriously needed to pick up some more stuff from the Gilbert house.

She was running out of clean clothes.

She needed to pick up the rest of her stuff though before Elena decided to throw it all away.

As she vented out all her frustrations, Buffy allowed her mind to drift back to what had happened the other night.

It made her sick to her stomach.

She had kissed Klaus!

Again.

What the hell was wrong with her?

She had kissed him back, hell she had practically made out with him for a good few minutes before common sense hit her.

She had literally been pressed up against a wall ripping his shirt off before it had finally clicked what she was doing.

If her phone hadn't gone off, she probably would have continued and had sex with him up against the wall.

Every time she was around him it was like all common sense vanished and she surrendered to her basic instincts.

Growing more frustrated by the second, Buffy threw one more punch at the bag, the image of Klaus's stupid grinning face making her send the bag flying across the room.

She had never felt more alive than when she had been with him.

Buffy hated it.

Rolling her eyes at the weakness of the bag she leaped up, grabbing onto the wooden frame above her, and began to do pull-ups while rock music blasted through the room.

Pulling herself up repeatedly she closed her eyes as thoughts continued to plague her. Everything that had happened since she'd been back, it was all so much.

And the nightmares were getting worse.

Sleep was practically none existent now.

Buffy couldn't remember the last time she slept peacefully.

Suddenly the wood shattered under her grasp causing Buffy to gasp in shock as she collapsed to the ground landing on her back.

Stupid super strength!

Laying on the ground she huffed in annoyance and glared at the ceiling "Couldn't help a girl out?" She asked the spirits only for the wooden pillar above her to drop down toward her.

Instantly, her eyes widened in panic and she quickly caught it "Geez, touchy?!" She hissed as she tossed the wood away before standing and pulling the wooden fragments from her hands allowing her healing to kick in.

As she dusted off her hands, her music suddenly stopped.

The spirits were seriously touchy today.

"Seriously!" She yelled, assuming it was the annoying dead witches.

It hadn't been.

Turning her head, Buffy froze as she spotted Stefan standing by her stereo having switched off her CD player, his hand hovering over the pause button.

"You okay?" He asked her noticing the broken punching bag and the partially broken ceiling.

Buffy clenched her jaw before offering him a tight smile "I'm fine."

Her answer caused Stefan to sigh and watch her with worry.

Their relationship had been tense and awkward, to say the least, following her breaking up with him. Despite that though, he was never going to stop wanting to help her.

He just wished that she would see that.

"Really? Cause the broken punching bag totally says you're absolutely fine."

Buffy glared over at him "Now you're just abusing sarcasm."

Stefan let out an amused breath before looking at her seriously "Come on Buffy, we may not be together anymore but we were friends when you didn't have your memory."

Plus, at the beginning of their relationship, they had built upon their friendship before they officially got together.
