Chapter 41

***Eliza's POV***

Ryne and Jase had stayed in the lounge with the door locked the whole ride to New York. We tried to talk to them, but they said they wanted to be left alone. Maddie and I worried about what was going on. Neither of them had even seen Easton yet. We were just now pulling into our hotel in New York. We had all gotten settled into our room, then we decided to meet in the cafeteria area. I still had the baby.

Maddie, Tae, Jennifer, Hannah, Naomi, Carrie, and I were all drinking coffee sitting around a table. We had gotten formula for newborns from a hospital and that's what I was feeding Easton. He slept most of the time that I had him though. Jase and Ryne locked didnt even come into the hotel. They stayed in the bus. Ridge and Isaiah went out. Tuck and Mike were going to some sports game and Rocky and Riss always just ignored us for the most part. All is girls just couldn't stop admiring Easton.

"He's a gorgeous baby" Hannah says. She was currently holding him. He had a head full of dark brown hair and brown eyes.

"I can't believe you delivered a kid" Naomi says.

"Yeah, you're not the only one" Hannah says back.

"He's got brown hair like Ryne" Maddie says.

"Yeah, but he's got brown eyes. He's got to get those from your side" Tae says to her.

"She's right. Me, Tuck, Ryne, Jase and You are all blue eyed. He's got eyes like Jonah" I say.

"Jonah needs to meet his grandbaby" Maddie says as Hannah hands Easton to her.

"He's going to be in love" I say.

"I think watching a man with a baby is the most attractive thing in the world. Watching Mike with Isaiah is the reason Jake was conceived" Carrie says. We all laugh.

"Gross" Naomi says.

"Oh, please. Don't act like you're all innocent" Carrie fired back in a joking manor.

"Yeah, you got me there" Naomi says with a smirk. We all laughed. In the next few moments, Ryne walked in with Jase.

"Hey, someone's wanting to see you" Maddie says holding Easton out for Ryne to take.

"I-I can't take him" Ryne says backing away. Maddie raises an eyebrow and holds Easton close to her again.

"Ryne, why are you being so weird?" I ask. I was kind of getting fed up with her.

"I'm not. I just...I can't hold him" She says.

"Why not? You do know this is your son?" Maddie says. She had gotten fed up too. The rest of the girls were just quiet.

"Mom, we're not keeping him" Jase blurts out. Ryne smacks his arm. Maddie and I were filled with fury.

"What?" I ask with a stern voice.

"That's what we came to tell you. We don't want to keep the baby" Ryne says. I look over at Maddie. She clears her throat and stands up.

"Tae, will you please take Easton back to my room?" She asks. Tae takes him and walks away.

"What on God's green earth are you talking about?" Maddie asks.

"We talked and we didn't think we deserved a baby, so we want to give him up for adoption" Jase explains. Maddie and I just stare at them along with Hannah, Naomi, Jennifer, and Carrie.

"We know he'd be going to a good Mother that will be better than Jase and I. We want to do this" Ryne adds.

"Well, I'm sorry, but you're not going too" I say.
