Baby Easton was one week old now. We were heading out from New York today. We were traveling back to some other states we had performed in already, just completely different ends of the states, so today we were heading to North Carolina. Jase and Ryne were in the back of the bus. Ryne had been struggling a lot with some postpartum depression, but she still loved her son so much. They decided to announce the baby today. I took a picture of the three of them. Ryne was holding him while Jase kissed her cheek. She posted the photo saying: "Easton Michael Edwards-Font. You are so loved, my son".

Jase then posted his photo. I thought his captions were clever. He said: "baby easton sure looks a lot like his mama, but god forbid he has her attitude, or else im in trouble".

Tuck and I posed for a photo together holding him so I could post it. I found a picture of us holding Rocky when she was born where the twins were sitting in the hospital bed with Tuck and I, and put it next to the one of us with Easton. My caption was: "it only took us eighteen years, but it looks like we've got a boy in the family now. welcome baby easton. i hope you're ready for a crazy adventure with this family".

We were all so obsessed and in love with him. Even down to Rocky and Marissa. They hadn't left his side. Ridge and Isaiah were in love with their nephew and godson. I was still kind of in shock over the fact that I had a grandson now. I wouldn't have had it any other way, but still. It was kind of shocking.

It was around midnight. Jase and Ryne were sitting in the back lounge with Easton. He was crying up a storm.

"I-I don't know what to do" Ryne sobs. "He just won't stop. I've tried everything"

"Well, should we wake up your mom?" He asks. I was about to go help them anyway, but I wanted to give then time to see if they could figure it out.

"No! No, we can't wake up mama. We can't wake up any of the girls. I know they're all doubting us as parents and we have to prove to them we can do this" She says. She was wrong about what she said though. No one was doubting her, we just wanted her to figure everything out for herself. She was going to need to mature a lot to be a mother.

"They're not doubting us. They just want us to learn. Ryne, there's nothing wrong with asking for help" He says. By this time, Maddie had pulled back the curtain of my bunk to see if I was awake.

"Should the mama's intervene?" She whispers. I smile.

"Remember when you came to help me with Ryne when she was born?" I ask. She nods.

"Yeah, I do" She says.

"Talk about a full circle moment" I say. She nods in agreeance.

"True" I say. We got quiet to listen for crying, but there wasn't any.

"Daddy had the magic touch" Jase says. We go back to listening to them. The baby immediately stopped crying.

"What did you do?" Ryne asks.

"He can sense that your nervous. He can hear your heart beating fast and it probably freaked him out. Just stay calm" Jase says. I look over at Maddie. She looked like such a proud mother.

"That's what yo-".

"I know. That's exactly what I told you" She says with a smile.

"You know, I think our babies are going to make it" I say.

"I do too. They got a lot of love, and in this life...love wins" I say. She looks at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Nice Carrie reference" She says. I laugh most even realizing that was her song title.

"Well, am I wrong?" I ask.

"No. Love always wins. Especially in this family".
