It had been 3 months since that night. Since you'd seen those beautiful eyes and gorgeous smile. Since you'd heard that angelic voice and bewitching laugh. You missed every aspect. The late night talks, the cuddles on the sofa, the way she knew you like noone else did.
Your cheeks were raw from the tears that nonchalantly fell down from your blood red eyes. You didn't look good and you definitely didn't smell good either. You had rarely moved from the same spot since that night, moving for the toilet and the occasional shower.
You saw lily every other day, she brought food and her good company. But you couldn't face carrying on with your life when she couldn't. Her parents visited often and when they could, but those visits were getting further apart, the longer it was, the less hope they had.
"Y/n... please, you need to eat, go home and get some rest. Sarah wouldn't want this"
You just shook your head at the same questions that Lily asked everytime she visited. You hadn't truly spoken a word since that night, and you didn't plan too. The only words you wanted to speak was "I'm sorry, I love you".
