You were walking hand in hand with sarah, dragging her into everywhere christmas decoration shop you could find. You had always been very fond of christmas ever since you were a little girl. Sarah maybe not so much. But you were determined to change her mind on the matter. She didn't hate christmas, she just wasn't as excited as you, which wasn't surprising, you were unsure anyone could ever be as enthusiastic as you about the 25th.

"We already have one of those babe"

You were looking at large nutcrackers. As a younger child you had always been scared of them, it was something about the way their mouth opened. You had the idea of placing a pair at the outside entrance to the house. Sarah had asked you to move in with her just in time for christmas and you were convinced she was starting to regret her decision.

"I know, but that shop only had one... and we need two because it has to be symmetrical"

"Really love?"

"Yes babe, I promise it will look amazing"

Sarah giggled at you as you went on to explain your christmas designs for the front of house.

"I'll believe it when I see it sweetheart"

You stuck your tongue out at sarah as she swatted your arm. You were determined to show sarah how amazing your ideas were going to look, she just had to have faith in your Christmas skills. You purchased the second nutcracker and couldn't help but smile wildly when you were handed the giant decoration.

"Come on crazy lady, let's get some hot chocolate and get home"
