Steven + Connie Falling for my Bestfriend

Boardwalk
After dropping Connie off home Steven wanders around the boardwalk thinking about what to do about the situation that just occurred. I could talk to Peedee or Lars? He thinks. Thinking it would be to awkward to talk to the gems.

Steven walks up to Peedee's food truck. "Hey Peedee." Steven greeted. "The Bits?" Peedee asks while walking to a fryer.

"Hey... while I'm here. I need advice, about a girl?" Steven says asking like a question.

"Psh like what, a girl took one of your Guy's?" Peedee mocks while making the food.

"So this girl kissed me, and Connie punched her. And I like Connie but I that was really messed up." Steven explains.

"What?! Steven no way! So you're gonna break up with Connie to date this girl?" Peedee asks excitably.

"What? No... Connie and I aren't dating." Steven says slightly blushing.

"Huh, could have fooled me. Every time you're with her, you act all mushy." Peedee replies giving Steven The Bits.

"Thanks Peedee. So any actual advice?" Steven asks.

"If I were you I'd tell Connie to stop punching people and start dating the other girl. We're men now Steven. And men... need girlfriends." Peedee says puffing out his chest.

"Where's yours?" Steven asks while eating.

"S-st- I'm working on it." Peedee says annoyed.

Steven walks home and sees Onion. "Oh hey Onion-" Steven starts. Onion grabs Steven's Fry Bits and runs.

"Onioooon." Steven yells while running after Onion.

Even using his faster speed from his gem he still could't catch up to Onion. Steven sighs in defeat and realizes he was near Lar's house and decides to talk to him about Connie.

Steven knocks on the door and Lar's parents answer. "Oh um is Lar's home?" Steven asks awkardly. He always felt weird around Lar's parents since they switched bodies.

They invite Steven in after telling him Lar's was upstairs with his girlfriend Sadie.

Steven walked into the room and saw they watching horror movies on Sadie's computer.

"Oh hey Steven." Sadie says.

"Next time knock." Lar's tells him with a wink. Which addled Steven as he can jump out of Lar's head at any time.

"Hey Lar's I have a question..." Steven says while Sadie pauses the movie.

Steven sighs. "So this girl, Angelica kissed me. I don't really like her, but Peedee says I need a girlfriend. I really want to date Connie but she has strict parents. And I don't really know if she's actually ready for dating."

"Okay here's what you do Steven... You go out with Angelica. That way you can make Connie jealous and she'll be begging you to take her back." Lar's says with a grin.

"What?! Steven don't listen to him. That's just going to make pointless drama and Connie upset with you. Just give Connie time. You do not need a girlfriend at what... 14? Lar's was single until a year ago." Sadie says jabbing Lar's in the stomach.

"I'm 16." Steven says mumbling embarrassed. "I get the message, thanks Sadie." Steven says after walking towards the door.

This is so confusing.

Connie woke up excited it was Friday. Then remembering she had to apologize to Angelica tented her excitement.

At school as soon as Angelica entered the classroom Connie jumped up and pulled her aside.

"Listen Angelica, I'm sorry-" Connie started.

"You're not going to tell me some excuse. I don't care. We're going to the principals office at the end of the day. Leslie took a video and I'm going to expose you." Angelica says snarly, then turning quickly to hit Connie with her hair.

"Ugh. I tried. I tried!" Connie says exasperatedly to Alex.

"I commend you for that." Alex says sympathetically.

"Alex, I need your help." Connie says quickly.

"Sorry Connie, I can only please my boyfriend. You have Steven." Alex says shrugging with a smile on his face.

Connie pushes Alex. "Not like that. I need to delete a video from someone's phone."

"Ooh spy time." Alex says.

Alex walks up to Leslie and starts talking about cute boys, which Leslie could talk forever about. While Alex did that Connie walked past Leslie's table quickly grabbing the phone.

Connie walked to a corner trying to think of a possible password when the bell rang for lunch. Crap she thought. Leslie walks out of the room forgetting about her phone.

Alex walks up to Connie hopefully. "Did it work?" He asks.

"Nope we have to find the password soon." Connie says.

"This better work, or I'm going to jail as an accomplice to theft." Alex says making Connie laugh.

As they walked to the cafeteria they chatted about what some possible passwords were, but both didn't know her very well to give good guesses.
