After school
Connie sees Steven and walks over to him.

"No Angelica?" Connie asks.

Steven shrugs. "I haven't seen her."

He drives her to his house and she sits on the couch Steven warming up some popcorn for them.

"Because of you Pearl is making me train even harder." Steven says with a sigh.

"I can help you." Connie says trying to help.

They warp to the Ruins and Connie starts to show him stances and moves he can use to get better.

Steven isn't really paying attention and more looking at Connie daydreaming.

"Hello? Earth to Steven?" Connie asks.

"Y-yea?" Steven asks, blushing after being caught.

"Ughh you're not paying attention." She says annoyed.

"I'm sorry Berry, I get this lesson all the time with Pearl. It's just cuter seeing you do it." He says winking.

"Ugh you're such a flirt." Connie says while walking away.

Steven grabs her and twirls her then swaying with her cutely. He kisses her cheek.

She blushes but can't hide it from being bear hugged from behind by Steven.

"Steven! Let me go." Connie says.

"No, I want to talk." He says.

Connie rolls her eyes and asks, "about what?" Knowing it was going to be about them.

"Sources have told me you like me?" He says continuously kissing her cheek.

"Well those sources may...or may not be true." Connie says in a playing tone.

Steven turns Connie over and pecks her lips. Connie blushes and jokingly pushes Steven.

Steven acted appalled and walks to watch up to Connie heading towards the warp pad.

"Come on Mr. Universe let's watch some Under the Knife." Connie said while walking to the warp pad.

They warp back into the living room and turn on the tv both not really watching it. Steven just started at Connie, while Connie tried not to blush knowing he was watching her.

"You know Miss Maheswaran? I'd think I'd like a tutor." Steven says.

"Alright for what?" Connie asks.

"Kissing. You see I don't want to get out of practice since I don't have a girlfriend yet." Steven explains.

"Haha very funny Steven. I'm not going to kiss you." Connie says slightly blushing.

Steven groans. "Aw come on please." He asks putting his hand on her face causing them both to blushing .

Connie smiles and nuzzles his nose. "Sorry Biscuit, you can kiss me again when we're dating."

Steven laughs and asks, "Connie Maheswaran would you accept my hand in being you're boyfriend?"

Connie also pretends to be formal and says, "Sorry Steven Universe. I must decline as I would be beheaded by my parents."

Steven sighs and smiles, "I Steven Universe respect your hesitance, unfortunately I shall execute you from your rejection."

He tickles her mercilessly for a few minutes until stopping and giving her a kiss on her forehead watching her blush. Then they actually watch what's on the tv.

Connie gets up and goes into his refrigerator. "Want any juice?" She asks.

"Uh sure. Thanks Connie." Steven says.
Connie walks over and gives him some apple juice.

Amethyst exits her room and sits on the counter.

"Hey you two. Guess what I found." She says.

The jam buds shrug and look at her to elaborate.

"While I was in my room stockpiling trash I saw this tape!" She said smiling proudly.

I grab the tape and see the name on the side Baby Steven.

Steven grabs the tape and puts it behind himself. "Uh it's fine Amethyst. We don't wanna see."

Connie tries to grab the tape but Steven was protecting it with his life.

"Ha! Speak for yourself Steven I'm gonna play it." Amethyst says shape shifting growing her legs to grab it.

Steven desperately tries to get it back while Connie blocks him and Amethyst puts it in the VHS player. The video started and Connie watches while muffling her laughter from Steven's extreme reaction. "Stoppp looking Connie."

He gets up to cover her eyes but Connie trips him causing him to fall on top of her.

They both blush as they quickly separate. Steven blushes even harder thinking about Connie's soft breasts pressed on his chest. He looks away and tries to think of something else to keep something from rising hearing while Amethyst joke about their awkward situation.

Video games, the gems, food. Luckily it worked and nobody noticed Steven flustered too focused on the video playing.

"Steven, you were too dramatic you were cute as a baby." Connie said.

"And I'm not cute now?" Steven asks.

"Don't push it."

"Well guys I've got important things to do. Have fun." Amethyst says with a wink.

Steven blushes and Connie laughs. "I'm gonna go too. I've got a test coming up." Connie says. Before giving Steven a hug. While reminded Steven of their awkward fall.
