"Oh thank the stars you're okay Connie," Pearl says examining the girl's body stopping at her cut hand.

"Oh, that was my fault," Connie says before anyone else was blamed.

"Where's the amnesia?" Amythest asks.

"Oh... Dolomite fixed that for me. She just reversed what Gneiss gave me."

"Who's that?" Garnet asks.

"Chloe." She answers.

"I was wondering what type of name that was," Amethyst says.

"Well, I'm glad to be home." Connie says smiling. "What'd I miss?"

"Hmm mostly studying and finals. Also, you know Steven and you dating." Amethyst says almost laughing.

"Oh." Was all Connie could say. What could she say? She looked over to Steven who looked the most upset.

"What's wrong?" She asks sitting next to him, as the gems pretended to leave.

"How could I not know?"

"I mean they made a whole AI for me just so you wouldn't." She says poking his arm.

"Or maybe I'm just super predictable." She says looking at the floor.

"But let's not think of that, I wanna show you something." She says holding his hand and walking towards Steven's car.

"Okay, this is it guys. This is when they kiss." Amythest says proudly as she snuck towards the window.

Instead of kissing they just got inside the car. Not even romantically helping each other with the seatbelts.

"This is the worst!" She groans heading to the fridge.

"She should be over here," Connie says once again holding his hand while slightly dragging him somewhere.

They were at a coffee shop near Connie's house, Galaxybucks.

"Hmm, she's not here yet, but that's okay," Connie says sitting down. It was late, not many people were actually inside, the reason why she picked it, in hopes, it was night on Earth, if not that would have been horrible, so she was happy it worked out.

"What are we waiting for?" Steven asks.

"Her name's Amina, she looks super young. But the point is, she's a hybrid like you Steven."

"Woah woah, why would I be happy about that. Being like me- it's a nightmare!" Steven says feeling a wave of emotions from that statement.

"You say this as if I did it, Gneiss did. She was planning on running a bunch of tests on her to figure out what she is basically."

"Maybe that would be a good thing," Steven says only half kidding.

"Steven-" Connie starts.

"Can we stop talking about this?" He asks.

"Um okay." She says.

They sat in uncomfortable silence until Steven finally spoke.

"I'm sorry." He says holding her hand.

"It's okay. Are you?" She asks.

Steven makes a face showing his discomfort with this topic.

"You can answer it later." She says squeezing his hand.

"So... how was dating AI me?" She asks inquiring about what was mostly bugging her about being gone.

"How realistic was I? Aw man I wish I was there to see it."
