"Dude, are you gonna go?" Amythyst asks after beating Steven in a match of Super Smash Bros.

"Yeah yeah, after this," Steven says starting a new round.

"You said that 3 rounds ago. Just go, there's nothing that bad." She coaxes.

"Yeah well, I'd like to see you talk to the Diamonds twice a month," Steven says sighing and putting down his controller.

"Good luck!" Amethyst says with two thumbs up.

Homeworld
"Ah hello, Steven." Yellow Pearl greets.

"It seems you've caught my diamond at the wrong time. But I'm sure Blue Diamond is free, playing with Spinel." She says more monotone than her usual boasting one.

"You don't like Spinel?" Steven asks.

"I never said that." Yellow Pearl answers.

Steven leaves and finds Blue Diamonds Pearl standing by a door.

"Is Blue in here?" Steven asks.

"Yes, she's with Spinel." Blue Pearl responds.

Steven starts to walk inside but stops and asks, "do you like Spinel?"

"What's not to like? She's just like Pink." Steven couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or genuine.

"Why talk to us Pearls when there's Spinel." She continues, smiling.

This was kind of creepy to Steven because it looked so fake, and she didn't smile much.

"Do you know what I had to go through with Blue Diamond? She was constantly crying from the loss of Pink Diamond. So I was constantly crying. Her grief became my own. And now... I'm nothing." Blue Pearl says almost laughing.

"Do you want to leave?" Steven asks.

"No." Blue Pearl responds and Steven can tell she's serious with that answer.

He mentally puts it on his list to handle that soon.

Bathtub thing
"Steven!" Blue Diamond says as Steven steps inside the room.

"Hi, Blue." He greets.

"Hya, Steven!" Spinel greets from on top of the bath, feet stretched to dangle into the water.

"How are you?" Blue Diamond asks.

"I'm good." He replies. That answer comes naturally every time, now even he starts to believe it.

"Anything new?" Steven asks floating up the steps.

"No, but Spinel has been such a joy. She reminds me of Pink so much. And without much work to do since freeing our colonies, she's been a great source of entertainment."

"That's... nice, how are you Spinel?" Steven asks.

"The diamonds have been so much fun! They remind me of Pink Diamond in a way." She answers happily.

He wasn't sure if their relationship was very healthy, but it seems no one is getting hurt.

"What's Yellow doing?" He asks.

"Oh, Yellow and White are talking to one of those Lapis you told us about. But I decided to stay here and play with Spinel." She answers.

"Just talking?" Steven asks.

"Just talking." Blue answers, smiling.

"Well, goodbye Blue. I'll be back soon." Steven says turning around to float down.
