"So, I've been dying to know Steven," Dr. Mahewaran says putting down her now empty cup of water on the table. "What did you whisper to Connie in the mall that made her listen to you."

Ever since the talk at the mall, they had decided to have dinner with Steven twice a week, to get to know him more.

Steven looked at Connie puzzled. "Why didn't you just tell her?"

"She didn't ask," Connie answers putting her spoon down looking at her mother curiously.

"I've learned not to ask Connie questions that she deems even remotely personal. Since "that's between you and her"." The doctor explains using air quotes.

"I just told her to trust me," Steven shrugs also finishing his dinner of stewed peppers and tomatoes with eggs. (Trust me the picture looks tasty af.)

"And that just worked?" Doug asks mind completely blown. "It takes us 3 good reasons to convince her to do anything differently."

"No, no, no, you guys are doing it wrong. You just have to make her comfortable and safe, then she's basically in your pocket." Steven explains feeling a glare from Connie.

"Is that why you rubbed her shoulders?" Priyanka asks.

"Yup," he answers, revealing all of his tricks to change his stubborn Connie's mind.

"That's enough for one day," His jam bud says taking their bowls.

"How do you make her give up her phone password?" Amina asks.

"Hmm, I haven't asked, but I'm sure I'll be able to crack the code." He answers as the Maheswarans followed behind Connie, putting their bowls away.

"Watch this," he whispers to Amina before walking towards Connie as she went to grab the broom.

"Hey Strawberry," he says hugging her from behind, his arms resting on her waist.

"What do you want?" She asks knowing he's doing something sneaky.

"Myparentsarehere." She mumbles lowly.

"Whoops," he says kissing her temple and letting her go before her parents notice anything.

"Bye~," he says as he walks back towards the table.

"Got it," he says holding Connie's phone returning to his previous seat across from Amina.

"Wow, I can't sneak anything past Connie," Amina says shocked at the prize he was holding.

"Now... let's see." He says turning on the device.

"It's a stupid word password." Amina mumbles.

"Makes my job easier," the teenager says typing a possible password on the phone.

"Bingo bongo," he says turning the screen to show Amina the unlocked device.

"She doesn't even have a wallpaper of me," Amina says crossing her arms making an hmpf sound.

"I know, it's disappointing," Steven says also feeling hurt from the lack of him on her wallpaper.

"What are you two doing?" Connie says sitting next to Steven, eyeing the two suspiciously.

"Cute password," The sly teenager says giving his girlfriend back her phone.

"I knew you were up to something," she says happily taking her phone back.
