Steven + Connie Falling for my Bestfriend

Typing from computer and phone is so different so sorry if some stuff seems weird on either device.

Steven's House
Steven ran back into his house hoping Connie forgot something and came back. To his dismay, only his dad was in sight.

"Hey, dad? Have you seen Connie?" Steven asks.

"No..." Steven's dad says confused.

"Why don't you check to see if her parents picked her up." Greg suggests.

Steven sighs with relief thinking she'd be home. He texts her and hops on Lion.

Mahasawaran Household
Once at her house he knocks on the door hopefully.

"Steven? Where's Connie?" Doug asks letting Steven inside.

Steven steps inside trying to keep calm from panicking.

"I-I'm not sure. But I'm looking, I saw her 10 minutes ago." Steven says quietly, frustrated and worried.

"What do you mean? Was she upset?" Doug questions.

"No, we were racing a-and she was gone. Maybe it's a joke." Steven says knowing it wasn't.

Doug opened his mouth to ask more questions, but before he could Steven said he'll find Connie and left.

Lion was still there, for once, and Steven got on him to go home and talk to the gems.

Steven's House
"Explain it again." Greg says frustrated.

"In more detail." Pearl adds.

"We were walking outside and I ran ahead racing her. I stopped running when I didn't hear her anymore thinking I was way ahead. And when I turned around she was gone." Steven says.

"That doesn't make any sense, you didn't hear anything?"

"No!" Steven says exasperated.

"Maybe we should find her and you should rest for a bit." Garnet says seeing him upset.

"No, I have to find her, I can't just sit and wait!" Steven says quickly.

"Don't worry dude. We've got it." Amythest says touching his shoulder.

"I thought you guys were gonna treat me like an equal." Steven says standing up.

"That's not it Steven. Look at you, you're way too emotional to do anything in this condition." Pearl says.

"Can't we just do something nice for you?" Garnet says with a smile.

Steven nods and says goodnight heading into his room.

There was no chance for Steven to go to sleep or sit idly by while his whatever was in trouble. He paced around thinking of anything to help him.

The diamonds, no. There are no bad guys?! Maybe it was the everyday kidnapping... against Connie though? No way, it has to be gem related.

Thinking of that, Steven creeps out of his room seeing the gems have gone and his dad on the couch.

"Hey, dad. I'm gonna go to The Big Donut." Steven says walking out of his door.

Instead of going to The Big Donut he went directly to Jasper.
