Zexel opened her eyes and saw an ancient room under her gaze. She almost burst out in emotion, if not for the headache that immediately occurred in her head.

She didn’t know what was happening, and she just wanted to slice off her head from her body, so the pain would fade away. But after an hour, the pain gradually lessened, as she understood what was happening.

All she remembered was she saved a person she loved dearly, but in the end, she just became a stepping stone to his success.

She was a Mafia Queen, the highest position in the underworld. Everyone bowed to her presence, as she emitted a dangerous aura that no one could surpass, not even the man she loved.

After Zexel used her body to prevent the bullet that was about to be shot at that man, the man told her that it was all his scheme, so Zexel would give him the most powerful throne in the underworld.

That man only stuck with her, so he could obtain her power. And because of her love for this guy, he succeeded in his plan.

Zexel now understands that every man who has a high IQ has a low EQ. She was considered a genius in her generation, but still fell for a scheme that her loved one prepared for her, but who knows what will happen.

Zexel lowered her defense toward that guy when she completely trusted him with all her heart.

She was now blaming herself for being stupid, and vowed to herself that she would never love again.

But before she thought about anything else, she began to analyze the situation.

Zexel didn’t know how to react. She used to read a lot of novels before, especially Chinese and English traditional novels. A lot of the main leads were like her eldest sister here.
