Chapter 47: Leng Fu Ting, the Crown Prince of Bing Dynasty

"Are the three of you ready?" Zexel asked.

"Yeah!" the three replied with grins.

They used a carriage to travel instead of their Air Mobile to avoid drawing unwanted attention. Their goal was to enter the academy and make a name for themselves before returning to strike the Pingjing Country. It sounded like a simple plan but involved many complicated steps.

There was a reason they needed to study at Scarlet Academy. They required at least two years to complete it.

One of their objectives was to obtain the badges of Armament Master, Array Master, and Pill Master. The siblings needed these credentials to build a professional network that could support their long-term plans.

Opposing an Emperor and entire dynasties required a tremendous amount of effort, sacrifice, patience, time—and most importantly—a solid escape plan for when things went awry. This time, they were going to prepare that escape route in advance so they could leave any future situation unscathed.

The four of them had undergone incredible transformations, ensuring that no one would recognize their real identities. This precaution was necessary, especially because the Crown Prince Feng Guan Xi and the Fan Family’s pride, Fan Qingyou, would also be enrolling in the academy.

"We're here," Feng Ming Li announced, prompting them to exit the carriage.

They arrived three days ahead of the Academy’s opening for enrollment. Thankfully, they had reserved rooms at a hotel near the Academy, so they had no trouble checking in.

Just as they approached the reception desk, they overheard a commotion.

"I am the Crown Prince of Pingjing Country! You must give us a room right now!" Feng Guan Xi shouted.

"Gentleman, we told you—the hotel is already full," the receptionist replied politely.

The group of four walked past him and handed over their reservation card. The receptionist immediately handed them their room keys.

"Who told you not to reserve a room a month before arriving? Are you stupid enough to ignore how many people would flock here for Scarlet Academy’s enrollment? Why didn’t you consider that? Who cares if you’re the Crown Prince? You're not the Emperor yet to demand special treatment," Zexel said coldly.

"Right. Other Crown Princes from different countries already made their reservations two months ago. Why should they give you special treatment?" Feng Ming Li added.

Whispers spread quickly, and murmurs of gossip filled the lobby. Feng Guan Xi and Fan Qingyou flushed with embarrassment.

"You! You! You! My father will ban this hotel in Pingjing Country! He’ll also ban ZUGC!" Feng Guan Xi screamed, red-faced.

His words only made everyone laugh louder.

"If the ZUGC were banned from your country, Pingjing would drop back to being a ninth-tier nation. Don’t forget, it’s because of ZUGC that your country even climbed to seventh-tier status. Do you think your father is stupid enough to ban ZUGC? How embarrassing," Fan Yaoli said with a smirk.

"May I have our reservation, please?" a calm voice asked, breaking the tension.

Zexel turned and immediately recognized the man.

It was Leng Fu Ting, the Crown Prince of Bing Dynasty—a third-tier country and a land of eternal ice.

"Here is your key, Your Highness," the receptionist said politely, handing over the key.

"You should prepare better next time, Prince Feng Guan Xi. Don’t make your country look like a bumpkin state with that kind of attitude," Leng Fu Ting said with a smile before turning and leaving. His remark made Feng Guan Xi flush even more with shame.

Laughter erupted again, echoing through the hotel. Taking this opportunity, Zexel, Fan Yaoli, Feng Zhengying, and Feng Ming Li exited the scene calmly.

Fan Qingyou quickly pulled Feng Guan Xi out of the lobby to preserve what little dignity they had left. They were forced to find another inn since their desired hotel was now out of reach.

Feng Guan Xi swallowed his pride for the moment. They still had to enter the academy.

Leng Fu Ting marveled at the hotel’s "elevator"—a concept foreign to him. One of the staff operated it, guiding him until he reached his room.

The moment he stepped inside, his face lit up with awe. The room was modern yet comfortable, offering a luxurious experience he had never encountered before. It blended elegance with cutting-edge innovation.

He noticed an instruction scroll near a dark panel on the wall and read it:

Put some of your energy into the box to change the color of the room according to your preference. Instructions for the unfamiliar tools, mechanisms, and features will appear once the process is complete.

— ZUGC Management

Curious, he placed a bit of his power into the box. In less than a second, the room shifted into icy blue, replicating the ambiance of his homeland in Bing Country. He felt completely at ease.

Walking to the bathroom, he examined a strange object resembling a basin. Suddenly, images flashed in his mind. He mimicked what he saw and was shocked when water flowed from the faucet.

“How… incredible,” he whispered. “How did they even create something like this?”

It was like something out of another world—technology that made life infinitely easier.

He continued to explore, learning how to operate the shower just as intuitively. He cooled the water with his own power and took a relaxing bath.

Afterward, he changed into a comfortable robe and lay down on the bed, which felt like it was made of clouds. He pulled out a scroll and began to write down his future plans.

Now, all he needed to do was find the Chosen Ones mentioned in the prophecy.

All he knew was that these individuals would be attending Scarlet Academy. He didn’t know their gender, background, or even how many of them there were. But something inside him told him that his instincts would guide him to them.

No matter what it took—he would find them.
