Silver clouds moved passed the golden moon. Stars were shimmering, spreading sparkles over the palace. While everything was dazzling outside, you were deep asleep. In your dreams, you saw your grandmother, who said she was proud of all that you have done for people and yourself. She wishes you a happy life with Namjoon. You didn't know if the dream meant anything, but you still hugged her and thanked her.

But the hug was soon interrupted when your physical body was shaken until you woke up. The first thing that ran through your mind was an intruder and you grabbed the closest weapon to you, which was your pillow. You flung it at the stranger, and he groaned. "Namjoon?" you asked, still half asleep.

"Why did you throw the pillow at me?" he asked, sounding offended and quite upset.

"I thought you were an assassin," you exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"

"I-I....I wanted to show you something." he said quietly.

"It couldn't wait until tomorrow?"

"No." he answered shyly. "I'm sorry, I'll let you sleep now." As he began to walk away, you pulled on his sleeve to stop him.

"Hold on, let me get dressed first." Even under minimal moonlight, you saw the smile that spread over his face.

"Alright, I'll wait for you outside." he exclaimed cheerfully. He will forever be a little kid, you chuckled. You got dressed in your hanbok and decided to just let your hair loose. Namjoon waited patiently outside, he had on a more casual hanbok. The soft breeze blew through his long locks. He looked magnificent. Once you got outside, he immediately reached out for your hand.

"What did you want to show me?" you asked. He squeezed your hand tightly, then with his other hand began making a circle in the air. At first nothing happened. But then the air molecules moved, as if they were being morphed. Your mouth hung open as something appeared.

"I've been practicing my portals making skills. Now you can see your parents whenever you want." he explained. It was heartwarming to know that between court affairs and running a city, he had spared time to learn this for you.

"Where does it lead to?"

"I guess we'll find out together." he shrugged. Your hand was still in his as you stepped through, feeling a little dizzy. But once the scenery in front of you came into focus, the dizziness faded away and you were left in awe. "I know this place holds mixed feelings for you, but I couldn't think of anywhere else."

"I love it," you whispered. Before you was the river behind your house. The place where you used to watch Namjoon rowed the boat over with Seokjin, and where you found Namjoon that night that led to all of this. The moon cast a glimmer over the water, the ripples were soundless. Namjoon led you to a dry spot, where you both sat down, enjoying each other's warmth.

"When I think about it, it still feels like a dream. And I am too scared to wake up." Namjoon said. He pulled your head to his chest and wrapped his arms protectively around you. "I'm scared that one day, you'll push my hands off and tell me you don't love me."

"That will never happen," you reminded. "I'll always want you to hold me like this, and I'll tell you everyday that I love and only you. Speaking of which," You rummage through your pocket and pulled out something. His eyes widened. "This is for you." Namjoon held the lavender pouch like a fragile star. "This time I thought of only you while making it. I think you should throw the other one away." The other one had colors that Seokjin liked, red and silver. This one was much more suited for Namjoon, blue and gold.

"I love this, thank you so much, my Y/N." There were tears in his eyes. "I have something for you too." From behind him, he magically pulled out a flower crown made of daisies from thin air. "Madam Jeon showed me how to make one, I don't think it turned out well though."

"Shut up, and put it on me." you demanded. Namjoon chuckled and obeyed the order. It was the perfect size for your head. He pulled back, taking the sight in.

"You're so beautiful." he said out loud, making you blush. "I am so lucky to call you mine. And I cannot wait for the day you become my bride, my princess, my queen."

"Isn't this the perfect place to elope?"

"Why do you keep bringing that up?" Namjoon laughed.

"I've read about it in books, I think it's kind of romantic." you shrugged. "When you have nothing to do except read, you start to imagine your life in all sorts of ways."

"And you want to elope?" he asked, looking right into your eyes. There was a reflection of the moon, it added to your ethereal presence.

"I think I just want to be married to your right now, Your Highness." you answered. "I mean, we'll have an official wedding for my parents to see. But I've always wanted the act to be personal, just between the two of us."

"That's supposed to be my line," Namjoon pressed his forehead against yours, "There's nothing I want more than that, my Y/N." He took a deep breath. "I promise to love you until my dying breath. I promise to stay by your side even when the mountains are too treacherous. I promise to fight for our love even when the world is against us. I'll never stop chasing you because you are my sun, my moon my stars. My life is yours for the taking, my heart is yours to break."

You squeezed your eyes shut, the tears wouldn't stop. "I promise to love you until I can no longer love. I promise to fight for us even when the world is cruel. I promise to support you through all our endeavors. I'll stop running away and embrace you properly. I'll treasure your life, I'll cherish your heart."

In this familiar place, two beating hearts glowed in ember until their light encapsulated the night sky. Nothing else mattered, they've found their answers.
