The year is 994 A.D in scotland which is home to many of creatures, mainly human and gargoyle alike. At Castle Wyvern the only known Gargoyle clan calls this place home, who protects the humans and the humans protect the Gargoyles. Though these are dangerous times for both creatures who alike have many enemies. The vikings are enemies to both at the moment.

"Fight men, they are not invincible!" I hear waking from my slumber, though I know what is happening. I for saw it two nights ago, the viking are attacking I pull my metal staff from its holder on my back instantly blocking an attack. I growel attacking the viking then continuing to defend my castle with my clan.

After the attack I walk into the dining hall with Goliath and his second command. Though not really sure why I'm present, Being a seer means I get included in such activities. We walk in and Golith bows with chivalry to the princess,"Goliath, we named you well, it seems. You are as good a soldier as the Philistine giant who fought David." The captain remarks making me raise an eyebrow. "You would do well to remember, Captain, that the biblical Goliath was also a bully and a savage." The Princess responds which makes the other female gargoyle angry but goliath stops her. "If you'll excuse us" he says and starts to lead her out signaling for me to follow but I am not ready yet.

"In the future, Captain, you will make your reports to my advisor, the magus, not directly to me." the princess says making me turn to her my eyes now purple. "The vikings will return princess, I would reconsider who you trust and who you consider the beast" With that I turn around and make my way out looking for my brothers and sisters.

As usual they're by the new refugees messing around, one is eating more than he needs to while the others are playing a game of catch with a shield. "Brothers" I say greeting them as I land, they toss me the shield and I immediately take it. "The viking are becoming a bit more restless don't you say?" I toss it to my red friend who tosses it to our short one "Definitely relentless to say the least". "Y'all wanna go explore before sunrise?" I ask throwing the shield down after catching it. "You always wanna go exploring" says my red friend "true but there's so much out there, I just wanna see everything" I reply back which makes him smile.

"Well if we're going to go lets go, we don't have all night" My blue friend who was just occupied by the amount of food in the courtyard says standing up and stretching.

We go down and explore the caves by the castle, the Archmage was said to rule over these caves; who knows what type of magic lies down here. I run my hand over the hieroglyphs that tell the story of the Arch mage fighting a gargoyle. I can only imagine it's Goliath. The others look too as we continue down the stairs exploring more of the cave. We finally come to a cave with giant pillars with more words on them. If only we could read, I might be able to decipher what they say. "This is amazing" my tan friend says I nod in agreement "These symbols are probably spells that the Archmage had carved into these stones." "I wonder what they say?" My very blue friend asks "Something bad will happen here in the future" I say Turning toward my friends knowing my eyes are purple. That's what happens when I get visions for the future. "Goliath will face a friend and an enemy but only one of the three will stay here forever". I shake my head seeing the boys staring at me "this won't happen for a very very long time.'' My red friend watches me closely as I walk around examining the structure in further detail.

"It's most likely almost sunrise my friends, we should head back" I mention to them leading the way back out of the cavern.

After we get mostly back I let my two friends go ahead of my very red friend and I "Hey can we talk for a second?" I stop him resting my hand on his arm. He turns to me mostly out of confusion "I had a vision and I don't know if It will come true but something bad will happen not this morning but the next". Having his full attention I continue "I don't know if I should tell Goliath, there might not be a whole lot that he can do to stop it". My friend takes a deep breath "whatever it is Goliath should know, as a seer it's your responsibility to tell him these things." He pulls me into a hug, my face instantly heating up to a burning feeling "whatever it is that's coming we'll get through this together, everything will be okay".

With my cheeks still burning hot we arrived back to the castle with sunrise getting ever so near. I'll have to tell Goliath At sunset. I get in my place next to my friends and brothers taking out my staff getting into an attack position. My skin hardens and sleep starts to take me, all I can think about though was the vision I had. My vision goes dark sending me into another vision filled night.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When I awaken I try to find our leader immediately, Seeing him on one of the towers with the second command and the Captain of the guard this would be a perfect time. "I leave you in command" I hear but he starts to walk away "Goliath, they're right we must leave, something bad will happen when you are away". He considers this for a moment "seer what did you see?" "the castle in flames, the humans were gone but.." I couldn't finish my sentence I see the two others look at each other which makes me suspicious. "Let's just say no one will be leaving in the Castle by tomorrow night". "I'll take the chance, my second in command will be ready and I'll take on the rest of the vikings" he says then storms off. I turn to the other two "Ya'll better have a Plan B or there won't be a castle to protect anymore" I say and take my leave to find my friends.

As usual they're playing catch and eating dinner, I would join them but I just continue to stress about tomorrow morning's events. "Hey catch and keep away from him," My red friend throws me the slice of meat with our dog like friend but I throw it back and sit down next to my blue friend sulking slightly. My red friend sits next to me as a young human boy walks up to us.

"'I'm Tom What's your name?" My tan friend looks at the boy amused "Except for Goliath, we don't have names well and well, she's called the Seer but that's not really a name more of a title" "How do you tell each other apart?" "We look different" "But what do you call each other?" "Friend".

"Tom" the young boys mother I presume calls, grabbing his arm pulling him away from us "Get away from those monsters". "We wouldn't hurt the lad, ma'am" my friend tries to reason with her standing up from where we were sitting walking towards her. "Keep away from him, you beast" the older women says throwing a log at him hitting him in the arm. I start to growl, how dare she hit him like that we didn't do anything wrong. The second in command lands in front of us confronting her which slightly calms me down knowing this will be wrong "You're the beast" but Red just interrupts her "No. If they think we're beasts and monsters Then perhaps we'd better live up to the name" I try to stop them but Goliath lands and throws my three friends into the rookery.

As the night carries on my anxiety grows, I decide to try to reason with the Captain. When I finally find him he's messing with the bows in the armory "Captain what are you doing?" but I already know, he's the betrayer. My eye grow red as I growl "now look Seer it's not what it looks like". "You would destroy the castle!" I yell at him trying to hit him with my staff but he blocks with a sword. "Once this is all over you and the rest of your clan will have the whole castle" he tries to reason with me. Something knocks me over making me hit the ground "she won't understand till tomorrow" I turn and see Goliath's lover making me widen my eyes. I don't feel the hit but when my vision goes black I know the captain was done with this whole fiasco.
