It was a Time For Gargoyles

I'm actually here to help you surprisingly

When I wake up I feel refreshed like I always would, looking over and seeing Elisa waking up also talking about the Demonda situation but realises that the boys are all gone.

she looks around for a few seconds but still can't find them "Everyone is gone, they were trying to figure what happened as well last night." I explain to the raven haired women which she nods to "We need to get to work, everyone is probably freaking out right now"

shaking my head I grab my boi staff and gear "I'm heading to the old castle, Xanatos is working on a cure and I'm going to go help" she gives me a look wanting an explanation but alas I can not give the woman one. I give her a hug warning to be careful that we only have twelve hours left and to come find me which thankfully she agrees to.

I walk to Xanatos' building riding in the elevator thinking about this mess that he and demona put everyone in. how I nearly died almost 2 months ago just to be put in a situation like this, I know that if Whatever xanatos is doing doesn't work we'll all be stone forever. That was my first fear as a hatchling that I would be stone forever and never wake up, it was a stupid iracial ear but it still scared me to all ends.

now entered the main dining room seeing Xanato's and Owen look at plans and graphs my fear has returned. The two men look at me considering me for a moment before walking to me "Ah Delphi what can I help the wannabe detective today" Mr. Ponytail has the audacity to say making me frown and cross my arms "I'm actually here to help you surprisingly"

I walk over to the computer and start to type "You need some type of gas that will explode in the air making the sky "Burn" that is what the spell says right?". I ask the two men now looking at each other "Your powers beseech you my dear'' Ponytail says making me give him a slight curtsy in annoyance and maybe sarcasm which I don't know if people use yet but still all in the same.

We begin working on the gas Xanatos filling the canisters with Owen while I work on getting the robot Gargoyles to flying perfection. Holding a blowtorch is not something I Thought I would be doing today which it seemed to surprise Owen the most that I know how to handle such powerful tools which by the way is redicuise cause I helped Lex with the motorcycle that Red rode but we don't need to go into that story now do we.

I look at the clock seeing that it's getting closer to sunset which isn't good considering that I'm currently working on one of the canisters for the Gargoyles.

"Are you sure that you can finish the rest of the canisters without us?" I question setting down one on the table going to the next one tweaking it a little.

"The gargoyles will be plenty helpful I just hope that nothing interferes with our hard work" David says attaching the canisters to the robots that I just finished but I shrug "there will be intefieriances but you have to adapt" I say as Elisa walks in looking almost the same color as the jacket she always there I tone out the rest of the conversation as she walks in till a fight between her and Owen starts to occur making me reach for my boi staph but it starts to happen again with the feeling falling out of my legs and I'm plunged into darkness

Brooklyn POV

After waking up with the rest of the clan we head straight to the castle ready to get started with the rest of our plan. When we walk in we see the stone version of Elisa and Delphi making my stomach drop. Elisa is in a tussle with Owen and it seems that Delphi was about to join them pulling out her boi staff. The human version of her is so similar to her gargoyle form but at the same time not.

"What is Elisa and Delphi doing here?" Goliath asks, making me walk to Delphi "neither of them look happy. I mention getting a look from Xanatos.

"Owen sometimes has that effect on people" the ponytail man as Del would call him says which makes me raise an eyebrow if I had some.

"Why have you brought out your robots?" Goliath asks which was the same question I had, "they are an Integral part of the plan which I will say proudly Delphi came up with for the most part".

I looked at her with pride but she probably saw the solution and was trying to figure out how to get it to work right.

"the spell will end when the sky burns, so we'll fly around carrying these packs that I designed but Delphi found the gas we would use which is a harmless Hypergolic gas. the packs will then deninate and the gas will ignite. For 10 seconds the sky will look to be on fire." He finishes as the rest of use puts on the packs.

I find one with my name on it making me smile with a note on it "fix this, and be safe" I look at my friend smiling putting on my pack.

We take off as a group and spread the gas in the upper atmosphere all praying that this will work otherwise this city is going to get very lonely.

POV Delphi

When I awaken again this time I feel normal looking at my hands seeing the greyish tint of my gargoyle form making me smile

"It worked they're back!" I hear before I'm bombarded with hugs making me smile "Hey guys"

"We missed you so much, don't ever do that again" I hear lex say before I nod looking at Brooklyn smiling at me "Nice plan, It was beautiful I wish you could had seem it"

I wrap my wings around me draping them almost looking at the tall red Gargoyle "I did see it where do you think I had to get my plan from" I tell him making everyone smile

We go home then things kinda back normal ready for the next adventure tomorrow
