I adjusted my pencil skirt as I nervously waited for the lift to start moving. I looked down at my black stilettos, checking that I hadn't scuffed them between walking from the bus to the building. I tried to swallow my nerves as the lift moved up. Why am I so nervous? I thought. Probably because it was my first day working for the biggest company in the city, for the locally famous Mr Calum Hood. I gulped hard as the lift stopped and the doors opened. I walked out to the desk."Hi, I'm Miss Y/N Y/L/N, I'm starting a job today for Mr Hood." I spoke.
"Okay, your desk is the one nearest the office, just unpack your things and your colleagues will let you know what your tasks are." The woman spoke.
"Thank you." I smiled before walking through the door. It was only seven-thirty and the floor was already buzzing. I quickly walked to the desk the woman was talking about and put my bag down.
"You must be the new girl." I turned my head to see a woman sitting at the desk next to mine.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"I'm Cassie, nice to meet you." She smiled, extending her hand.
"Y/N." I returned, shaking her hand as I sat down.
"You're lucky, getting a desk next to the boss' office." She smirked. I returned it as the lift pinged, making me look towards it. My eyes widened as I saw the most stunning man walk out and towards the office. My throat dried at his tanned skin and his perfectly shaped brown and blond hair, his suit pristine and clean with his shirt slightly unbuttoned, allowing a feather tattoo to peek out slightly. He looked at me and his lips curled into a smirk as he winked at me. I smiled slightly as I felt a blush creep over my cheeks, making him chuckle as he walked into the office.
"No fucking way." Cassie grinned.
"What?" I asked.
"Mr Hood basically just eye fucked you." She laughed. My eyes widened.
"That's Mr Hood?" I scoffed.
"Yeah. What did you expect?" she chuckled.
"I don't know, I expected a grumpy old man, not a six-foot-tall tattooed god." I spoke in awe.
"Calm down, Y/N, you don't want to be getting a crush on the boss on your first day." She joked before turning back to her desk. I looked back to the office to see Mr Hood looking at me through his window, smirking before he closed the blind. I gulped, suddenly feeling a lot more nervous than I should have.
