Calum's P.O.V
Calum shut the door to the basement and turned to look at Luke.
"Hey." he spoke, grabbing his arm.
"What the fuck was that?" he asked.
"What the fuck was what?" Luke asked.
"You know what. The closeness, the hand on her cheek, the longing stares." Calum spoke as he narrowed his eyes at Luke. Luke's eyes wavered.
"I don't know what you're about." He shrugged.
"Yes, you do. Look, I'm just saying, you're lucky that I was the one to spot it and not Ash or Michael because you're fucked if they find out." He spat.
"What are you trying to get at here?" Luke hissed.
"You're falling for her." Calum snapped. Luke gulped and looked down.
"How did you know?" he asked quietly. Calum sighed and rubbed his hands over his face.
"Because I'm falling for her too." He admitted. Luke's eyes widened.
"But...you've not done anything to-."
"To show it? Yeah, that's because I want to live." He spat.
"What will happen if Ash and Michael find out?" Luke asked. Calum shrugged.
"I don't know. Nothing good, that's for sure." He scoffed. Luke sighed and looked down.
"Look, just, I don't know, keep your distance and stop being so caring towards her." Calum sighed.
"But she needs someone, she's hurting-."
"I know, and trust me, I hate to see her hurt as much as you do, but you're going to get yourself killed. She's going to get you killed." Calum sighed. Luke returned it and nodded.
"It's probably best anyway, I can tell that she's fallen for you too." He mumbled quietly. Calum's eyes widened.
"I'm her kidnapper, why the fuck would she fall for me?" he scoffed.
"You tell me." Luke muttered before walking away. Calum sighed and rubbed his hands over his face for what must have been the tenth time that day. How could he be falling for the girl who could put them all away for life? How could he be falling for the girl who could get him killed in a moment? As much as he regretted thinking it, he couldn't help thinking that he should have just put a bullet in her head when he had had the chance.
