Y/N's P.O.VI opened my eyes and looked around. I smiled as I saw Michael, still asleep. I leant up and pecked his lips before sitting up and swinging my legs over the side of the bed.
"Not so fast." Michael mumbled as he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back onto the bed. I giggled at his gesture.
"Morning, baby girl." He smiled gently.
"Morning." I sighed, resting my chin on his chest and looking up at him.
"How are your fangs, baby girl?" he asked, gently stroking my cheek.
"They still hurt like a bitch." I sighed. He nodded as he pulled me closer.
"Yeah, they will. But we need to go hunting today." He spoke. I groaned as I sat up again and stood up.
"Do I have to?" I asked.
"Yes, you do. You need to learn how to feed yourself." He chuckled.
"Urgh, that sounds like so much work." I groaned.
"It is, but it's important." He shrugged as he stood up.
"Come on, let's go."
Michael and I walked through the woods, looking for food.
"Can you smell anything?" Michael asked.
"Can you?" I replied.
"It doesn't matter if I can, can you?" he pushed.
"Michael, stop fucking about, I'm starting to get hungry." I huffed.
"Then you better find something to feed off of." He grinned.
"Michael, for fucks sake, I'm getting sick of-." I was cut off by the strong smell of blood.
"What is it?" he asked. I sniffed the air.
"I can smell something...deer blood, I think." I spoke.
"See? You can do it, you just need to try." He smiled. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Can you tell how far away it is?" he asked. I sniffed the air again.
"Quarter of a mile at the most." I replied. He walked up next to me and looked down as he intertwined our fingers.
"Let's go." He smiled.
"I'll race you." I grinned before letting go of his hand and starting to run.
"Hey!" he laughed, quickly chasing after me. We sprinted through the woods, me slightly ahead of him. Suddenly, his arms flew around my waist and he picked me up as I squealed.
"Michael!" I laughed as we fell to the ground, Michael pinning me down. He stopped laughing and just smiled at me.
"What?" I smiled. He shrugged, gently stroking my cheek.
"I just can't wait to spend eternity together." He whispered. I smiled at his confession before leaning up and pecking his lips.
