I walked onto the floor and sat my bag down on my desk as I sighed.

"Tough commute?" Cassie asked.

"Yeah. The bus was late, so I thought that I would be too." I puffed out as I sat down.

"You can't be late on your first week. But not like it matters for you, the boss already has the hots for you, so you're fine." She chuckled. I rolled my eyes but smiled at her.

"Just because he winked at me once." I chuckled.

"Oh, so you haven't seen the email from him yet?" she asked.

"What email?" I gulped.

"An email was sent to your computer, asking for you to print off his sheets and then personally give them to him." She spoke. My eyes widened.

"Doesn't he have a personal assistant?" I gulped.

"Yeah. So that's proof that he has the hots for you, he's got you running around after him instead of his assistant." She smiled.

"Just because he thinks that I'm efficient doesn't mean that he likes me." I shrugged.

"Uh-huh, keep telling yourself that, honey." She giggled. I chuckled at her.

"I better get this done." I sighed as I sent his sheets to print before walking off to collect them. I stood by the printer, waiting.

"Excuse me, those are Mr Hood's sheets." I turned around to see a woman looking at me, a disgusted look seemingly plastered onto her face.

"I know, I was told to print them off and give them to him." I spoke.

"Why? That's my job." She snapped. I rolled my eyes slightly, thinking that it was safe to say that I hadn't made a great first impression on Mr Hood's personal assistant.

"Sorry." I shrugged as I grabbed the sheets and headed towards the office.

"You will be!" She yelled after me. I rolled my eyes again at the threat before knocking on the door.

"Come in." I opened the door and saw Mr Hood.

"Ah, my sheets, thank you." He smiled. I returned it slightly as I looked around.

"Where do you want them, sir?" I asked.

"Just put them there." He nodded as he pointed to a patch on the desk. I did what I was told before just looking at him.

"Will that be all?" I asked.

"For now." He smirked before giving me another wink. I gulped and gave him a small smile before rushing out of the office.

I sat at my desk, typing away at my computer and trying to get my tasks done. Suddenly, I felt someone's breath on the back of my neck. I turned around and my eyes widened. Standing right behind my chair was Mr Hood himself, smirking at me with his hands in his trouser pockets.

"Mr Hood, what can I do for you?" I asked slowly.

"I need to have a word with you in my office if that's okay." He smiled. I gulped.

"Of course." I nodded.

"Good." He smirked before heading back into his office and shutting the door. I looked at Cassie with wide eyes.

"What are you waiting for? Go!" she squealed as she pushed me out of my seat.

"Okay, okay!" I laughed as I walked towards the door. I slowly opened it and peeked in to see Mr Hood sitting in his chair behind his desk, feet on the mahogany surface. I moved in and shut the door before just standing there.

"What are you waiting for? Sit down, I don't bite." He chuckled.

"Well, I do if you want me to." He smirked. I hesitantly smiled before walking towards the desk and taking a seat.

"What's your name, sweetheart?" he asked.

"Um, my name is Y/N, sir." I spoke.

"You can stop with the formalities, you can call me Calum." He smiled.

"I apologise, sir, but I think that we should keep this professional." I gulped.

"I've never been a fan of professionalism, so call me Calum." He nodded. I sighed.

"Is there a reason that you wanted to see me, Mr Hood?" I asked. He nodded again, pausing for a moment before looking at me. I could tell that behind his admittedly beautiful eyes, he was thinking carefully about whatever he was about to say.

"How would you like to be promoted to be my personal assistant?" he asked. My eyes widened and I just looked at him, speechless. He bit his lip and raised his eyebrow, waiting for an answer.

"Don't you already have a personal assistant?" I asked.

"I do, but she's...moving on." He answered.

"Sir, I've worked here for less than a week, I'm sure that there are plenty of other people who would be more useful than me." I scoffed.

"Really? Because I can't think of anyone better to do this job than you." He shrugged.

"With all due respect, sir, you don't know me, so I will have to decline your offer." I spoke. He just smirked at me for a moment.

"May I go?" I asked. He paused, his gaze still on me. It was as if he was checking me out, except for the fact that his eyes remained on my face the entire time.

"Yes, you may go." He nodded after a moment. I sighed as I stood from the seat and walked out of the office.
