I sat on my sofa, tears still staining my face at Michael's sudden departure. I sniffed and sighed, looking at my phone as it buzzed. I gulped, picking it up and looking at the text.

Calum: I need to come over.

Y/N: Why?

Calum: We need to talk.

Y/N:...Okay, be here in ten.

I sat on the sofa, twiddling my fingers. I shot up as the doorbell rang. I opened it and grabbed Calum.

"Woah." He chuckled as I pulled him inside and shut the door.

"What do you need?" I asked, looking at him.

"Has Michael been acting differently lately?" he asked.

"Michael just left. And he was acting really strange." I nodded. He nodded slowly.

"What do you mean by strange?" he asked. I shrugged.

"Well, first of all, he turned up looking paler than usual and like he hadn't slept for days. And then we were...um...getting intimate-."

"Yeah, I don't want to know." He groaned. I glared at him.

"Fine, carry on." He sighed.

"Firstly, he was kissing my neck and his teeth felt, kind of...I don't know, sharp." I shrugged. Calum's eyes widened. He rushed to me and quickly moved my hair out of the way.

"Ow, Calum." I hissed as I felt his hands on my neck. He sighed in relief.

"And then what happened?" he asked.

"He stopped kissing me and pretty much just left, out of the blue." I shrugged. He nodded.

"Well, the good thing is that he didn't bite you." He sighed.

"And what's the bad news?" I scoffed.

"You're not going to like it, but the bad news is that you have to keep your distance until he gains control again." He spoke.

"Um, Calum, when he loses control, I'm usually the one who helps him-."

"No, I don't mean like that." He groaned again.

"Then what do you mean?" I asked.

"He hasn't eaten in weeks. You need to stay away until he feeds again." He said.

"Calum, what the hell are you talking about?" I scoffed. He sighed and looked at me.

"If you tell anyone what I'm about to, the boys and I are going to have to kill you." He spoke.

"Sure." I chuckled, playfully rolling my eyes.

"I'm not joking." He growled, looking at me with dark eyes. My eyes widened as I gulped.

"I swear." I said quietly. He sighed before looking at me again.

"Michael is a vampire."
