The boss - Calum (part 9)

I walked into Calum's office and put down his paperwork.

"Hey, babe." He smiled.

"Hey. I'm about to go to the photocopier, is there anything that you want doing?" I asked.

"Nah, you're okay." He smiled.

"Okay." I returned it.

"Hurry back, I start to miss you if you're gone for too long!" He yelled after me, making me smile. I closed the office door and saw a woman approaching me.

"Hey, can I help you-." I was cut off by her slapping me across the face. Gasps swept through the floor as Cassie rushed to me.

"What the fuck was that for?" she spat at the woman as she checked that I was okay.

"This slut is sleeping with my boyfriend." She fake-smiled. I just stared at her.

"I think you'll find that he's my boyfriend." I spoke.

"Oh bitch, you wish." She scoffed.

"What the hell is going on out here?" We turned around to see Calum stood there.

"Hey, babe." The woman smiled. His eyes widened as he looked at me. His glance went back to the other woman.

"In my office. Now." He spoke, holding the door open. She smiled at me before trotting in. Calum stared at me before shutting the door behind them.

"Are you okay?" Cassie asked. I nodded and sighed, tears pricking my eyes as I sat down.

After what left like hours, Calum and the woman came out of the office. She walked away as Calum looked at me sympathetically. He nodded his head in the direction of his office, signalling that he wanted me to come in. I stood up and walked in, Calum closing the door behind us.

"Are you okay-."

"When were you going to tell me that you hadn't broken up with her?" I spat.

"Babe, I did...well, sort of." He spoke.

"Sort of?" I scoffed. He sighed.

"I said that it would be best if we took a small break. A few months. And it's been a few months since we broke up, so she wanted us to date again." He admitted. My eyes widened.

"So, you were getting ready to cheat on me." I choked.

"No, Y/N, it's not like that at all." He promised. I shook my head as I headed for the door.

"Yeah, right. How many other girlfriends am I going to get slapped by for sleeping with you?" I snapped. He sighed.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled. I shook my head.

"We're done." I decided. His eyes widened.

"No, please, babe, I'm sorry-." I shut the door.
