You arrive at your old family house, it had been months since you had been in this place. Things hadn't ended so kindly the last time you were here. Even though you already had one child with him, they still did not think you would make it with him and the two of you had been together for more than 2 years.

You saw your brother, walk the short way down the driveway to come and help you with your two month old baby. Your two year old baby girl was already running out of the car and towards the house. As soon as you walked in through the door everyone began asking about him. And even though you said his flight had been delayed and he would be there in a few hours, nobody seemed to believe you. They always thought it was an excuse. But as the hours ticked by you thought he had bailed, he wasn't going to make it here and you would look stupid in front of your family. Every time the door opened, your heart would stop and you would hold your breath always hoping it was him but it wasn't.

Night had already began to fall and you were about to call it quits and tell your family the kids were tired and you would go to the hotel and rest. That you would come back tomorrow when you finally heard the door again.

"Daddy, daddy, daddy!!!" You heard your little girl call out as she ran away from her grandmother and ran into Calum's arms. Without missing a beat, he caught her and pulled her close to his chest.

"Hey there princess." he murmured, pressing a soft kiss before he made his way towards you. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to the baby's forehead, making him fuzz in your arms but you couldn't argue because seconds after his lips were on yours. A soft brush of longing.

"I'm so sorry I'm late." he whispered against your lips before you pulled away. His eyes still focused on yours and you knew he meant it.
