Luke

You had a tendency of leaving all of your Christmas shopping for last minute, and this year it had been no exception. Except, you kept telling yourself it was for a good reason this time.

You were meeting Luke the week before Christmas in New York. His whole family was flying over to celebrate in the states and you thought it would be a lot better to do your shopping there. So now with 5 days before the big day with the holiday food, the tree and the big man in the red suit, you and Luke were hurrying through packed stores to find everything you needed.

The one thing you had not expected were the amount o paps that were making their way around New York. After months of you and Luke keeping things as private as you two had done, it felt weird to have cameras in your face as you tried to do something as normal as holiday shopping.

Later in the day the two of you stood outside a small cafe, waiting for Luke's family to meet up with you so you could all eat together before heading back to the hotel. Without hesitation, Luke wrapped his arms around you and slid you as tightly as he could inside his coat. Your face burying into the side of his neck as you heard the paps yelling both your names in order to get your attention. It was the best he could do to make you feel more comfortable around them.
