It's been a while since you've seen Josie. You jumped into the malivore portal and everyone forgot you. You wanted to save Hope so you basically sacrificed yourself to make sure she was able to stay with everyone. When you came back to try and make everyone remember but when you saw everyone smiling and Josie and Landon, you thought everyone was happier without you.
You were just walking in mystic falls when a hand pulls you into an alley
"Y/N Salvatore" You turn to see Hope, Lizzie, RAF, and MG "Wait what?" You asked because there's no way they should remember me. You were happy but you didn't want to jinx it "Josie did a spell to protect me and Hope from a new creature and when we all were knocked out, we all remember you" Lizzie says "How selfish could you be! Why didn't you tell everyone that you're back!?" Hope yells at you. It wasn't a angry yell but it was definitely an upset and heartbroken one instead "Because I saw how happy you all were, Don't call me selfish because I literally watched the love of my life kiss my best guy friend" You say and they all hug you
Josie was confused on where everyone went so she walked around to find them when she heard them talking to someone. When she looked at you, she felt like she knew you but at the same time she didn't. She continued to listen by mostly looked at you trying to figure out why you look so familiar to her.
Josie stood trying to remember you as everyone hugged you when all the sudden, she starts getting images of you and words that she loves "I love you Josie"

She stands there shocked as you guys walk away to make up for lost time. She stands there as Landon comes up to her. He gently grabs her shoulder and she turns around and looks into Landon's eyes.
"I remember her/him/them. Y/N." Josie says and Landon nods also remembering you
