(So this is not how I think this works but whatever😂)
Josie could always feel a little bit of darkness in her but she had you, Hope, Lizzie, and Alaric to keep her calm so she didn't worry about it too much
That was until she lost you..... or so she thought
It was a normal day in the Salvatore Boarding House, Hope and Alyssa were fighting, Lizzie and MG being whatever they were and you and Josie just being together
You were a vampire and witch which made you a target for a lot of people...
Josie was busy talking with her father and sister about the merge since they were all worried about it. Josie didn't tell you much about it probably because she didn't want you to worry about it but with her not saying anything made you feel worried
You decided to take a walk to the dock when you heard 2 people talking...
"That's her. That's the girl/boy/person Josie is in love with" a male voice said. You felt like you recognized the voice but whoever it was, spoke too quick for you to actually pinpoint the owner of the voice "Make me proud and take her/him/them out so I can get to Josie" a male voice said and you turned around to try and attack them
But when you turned around, you felt a sharp pain in your stomach. You look down to see a stick through your body and before you could do anything else, the person before you in a red coat pushed you into the water
From the pain and weakness the stab had brought to you, you couldn't even try to save yourself....
As you went down, Josie was the only person on your mind

However, someone pulled you out but you fell into blackness before you saw who
Back at the boarding house*
Josie felt that something was off when you weren't answering her calls when a voice appeared in her head....
"Josie.....Josie.....Josie" the voice kept repeating
"What?" Josie asks turning around thinking it was either Lizzie or hope messing with her
"Y/N is dead.....Y/N is dead" the voice said and showed her flashes of you getting stabbed and getting pushed into the lake
But not when the person pulled you out
Josie broke inside.....she felt the darkness began to build inside her again but this time she didn't stop it as she didn't want to feel the pain of losing you (I'm thinking like when Josie becomes dark it's like when the vampires turn off their humanity)
Josie's eyes become dark and laughs at everyone's reactions to seeing her become dark
"I lost Y/N. I don't have a reason to fight the darkness anymore" Josie laughs and uses her magic to trap everyone in the cellar and make the school burn
She walks away, smiling feeling proud on who she has become but she's still thinking of you not knowing you were alive and this was all a trap...
