Y/N's POV It's been 2 months since me and Hayley Marshall have started dating
I've been so happy and she has been so caring and protective along with the rest of the Mikaelsons
Everyone was happy for me well expect Damon and Elena but honestly I didn't care
They both hurt me and I haven't spoken to either one of them since that night at the Mikaelson Ball
I decided to needed to go talk with Stefan as Hayley had asked if I wanted to move to New Orleans to be with her and the mikaelsons for good
I knocked on the door and immediately sighed when I saw who it was Damon Salvatore

I rolled my eyes "Is Stefan here?" I ask crossing my arms against my chest
Damon looks me over with a little hurt in his eyes as I didn't say hi to him at all
"Yeah he's upstairs" he says and moved out of the way so immediately I walked past him and walk up the stairs and knock on Stefan's door
Stefan opened and smiled when he saw me
"Hey can we talk?" I ask as we sit down on his bed
"Of course" he says and looks at me waiting for me to talk
"So Hayley has asked me if I want to move to New Orleans to be with her and Klaus and them. I really want to as I'm so happy with Hayley but I need to know if it's okay with you as I'll be leaving" I say looking up at Stefan
"I'm okay with it. You're happy and me and Klaus are something (😏) so I'll come visit you" he says which makes me smile and I hug him tight
"Well I better get going and go tell Hayley that I'll be going with her" I say and hug Stefan one last time before leaving his room and making my way back downstairs
"So you're leaving Mystic Falls to go with that little werewolf?" I hear Damon say behind me
"Yes I am Damon, I'm happy with her and the mikaelsons treat me like family and friends when my so called friend aka you slept with my ex girlfriend when we were still together so you don't get to talk Damon. Oh and also, that little werewolf is my girlfriend" I snap and storm out of the house frustrated
I got into my car and drove back to my house while I called Hayley
"Hello?" I hear my girlfriends voice ask through the phone "Hey so good news I'm coming with you to the New Orleans" I say while I smile "That's great baby! I'll pick you up tonight and we'll leave" she says "That's great" I say and we hang up as I start to pack my bags
"So you're leaving? Just like that?" I hear behind me so I instantly turn around to be faced with the girl who broke my heart Elena Gilbert
"Yes I am Elena and you don't get to say anything as you cheated on me with Damon and broke my heart so now I'm finally happy again and you can't change that" I say as I continue to pack praying Hayley would get here soon
"Y/N...what happened between me and Damon was a mistake. I regret it everyday please come back to me" she cries as I look at her and she looks to the side where I used to have a picture of me and her but was now replaced with a picture of me and Hayley and Hope when she first introduced me to her
"Elena I'm sorry but I can't. I was so in love with you. I spent 7 months with you just for you to cheat on my with Damon. How long Elena?" I ask
"3 months...." she looks down in shame
I chuckle dryly "I loved you Elena. I FUCKING LOVED YOU. And you go and cheat on me with the one person who was always there for me. You're just like Katherine Elena. I'm done being your little puppet and I'm finally happy and I'm getting away from you and from Damon and from this town and there's nothing you can do or say that will stop me" I say harshly as she looks at me with tears going down her face

"I think you should go" I say as I close my finally suitcase
"No Y/N please" Elena begs as she reaches out for me
"I think she/he/they said for you to leave" Both me and Elena turn to look at who the voice came from and I smile

Hayley death glared Elena as Elena let out a sob and walked out of the house
I smiled at Hayley and run to hug her and she hugs me back
"Are you ready to go?" She asks and as I nod and she helps grab my bags and put them in her car
Authors POV Hayley and Y/N were on the road when Hayley turned to Y/N but say that Y/N was asleep
Hayley smiles as she looks at her girlfriend/boyfriend/significant other
Hayley was picture their life together in New Orleans with the mikaelsons and her daughter Hope
She couldn't wait to start this new life
