𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙛𝙖𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙩, 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙥 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙬𝙣. Rebekah is with him. Elena passes by them Rebekah looks at her.
"Not really helping." Stefan tells Rebekah.
Rebekah says, "You're perfectly capable of tying a knot."
Stefan says. "Your giving Elena the evil eye... it's not really helping."
"And who cares what she thinks?" Scarlett asks giving Stefan a look. "Last I heard you two weren't getting along, with the her sleeping with Damon." Scarlett says laced with venom.
Rebekah says, "She killed my brother and tried to get you to put a dagger in my back. She's lucky all she's getting is the evil eye
"I can take her out. Boom the cure is yours." Scarlett offers Rebekah. She was angry at Jeremy and Elena for killing Kol, she knew it was Elena's idea.
Elena stops, "You know I can hear you, right?"
Rebekah says, "You know we don't care, right?"
Elena rushes over her with the white oak stake but Scarlett stop her, squeezing her airways. Stefan places a hand on his niece trying to let her go.
Rebekah says, "Go ahead. Try and kill me. But then you'd have to face your real problems... like the fact that Stefan invited me here himself. I guess he likes me again." Elena leaves the three.
"Sorry. If there was a less awkward way to do this, I would. How's Scarlett?" She says.
He says, "Doesn't bother me, and I've been avoiding her."
She says. "These symbols must have been left for the hunters so they could find the cure, and this must be the story of Qetsiyah and Silas. According to Shane, Silas asked Qetsiyah for help making a spell for immortality. She helped make him immortal, only to learn he planned to use the same spell on another woman, not her. When she found out, she freaked, I have to. She's angry. I've also been avoiding her too."
He asks, "So, Qetsiyah killed the other woman?"
She says, "Yeah. Silas was immortal. She couldn't kill him. So, she trapped him in a cave and buried him alive instead."
He asks, "Does it say anything about the hunter's purpose in all this?"
Shane rejoins them, "I was wondering when you'd ask. Qetsiyah created a cure for immortality and then she buried it with Silas, hoping that he'd take it and die. End up on the other side with her for all eternity. But he wouldn't give her the satisfaction. So, many centuries later, her descendants created the hunters to find him, cure him, and kill him. You know what? I'll explain on the hike. Come on. We gotta get going."
