Here's one for you DM's that want an item be important without it being important.
Appearance: It is a round orb with a stamp on it that say "THE DESIRED"
Description: This orb causes anyone to hold it to believed that it of major importance to that person & must be on that person 24/7. Weather it actually does have any importance to that person is unknown, but non the less they believe it does.
Attributes: Causes anyone who holds it, to believe that it is important to them.
