Here's one for you Dm's that want a simple side quest to go off the beaten path.
The players are in a small baking shop when the owner asks them to retrieve some eggs & milk from the animals in the back of the store. If they go back there to retrieve them they will find that bandits have sneakily broke in & have taken all the ingredients in the room. The players now have to find the rest of the bandits to get back the ingredients to be able to make the cake (The cake is given as a reward for the side quest)
