Here's one for you DM's that want the party to encounter a treasure hunter multiple times in the story.
The Treasure Hunter, gone to go to the dungeon & the ruins that the regular populace stays away from. They & there bag of equipment & tricks allow them to do what most others could only dream of. They are a force to be reckoned with even in there fields of expertise with. Gods rest the people who fell victim to the greedy & vain types of treasure hunters.
———————————————————————————————————–Treasure hunter Type.
The Greed: They hunt treasure for the gold, THE GOLD. Nothing & no one shall get in there way in there quest to line there pockets with as much ancient artifacts & monetary coins as they can.
The Vanity: They hunt treasure for the renown, for the glory of being the ones who do the seemingly impossible. They WILL be the one, & the only one to do this, & anyone who says or tries other wise will be sorry.
The Thrill Seeker: They hunt treasure for the action, the adventure. They could care less of the value of the things they break or run past in there need for adrenalin & there dungeon adventures only stop due to death or boredom.
The Explorer: They Hunt treasure just to go to the places where no one else has been, to mark down the places left unmarked. They wish to find the new strange things & if they find some valuable then that would be quite nice for them too.
The Scientist: They Hunt treasure for not the economic value of the treasure, but the scientific value. Searching Dungeons is exciting for all those strange things in them. That odd looking holographs on the wall, VALUABLE. That dangerous poisonous spider, VALUABLE. That weird wall fungus, VALUABLE. That spike about to spear them in the chest, VALUABLE.
