Chapter 39: New Paths

Naruto's P.O.V

I stared back at each and every individual inside of my medical room, my vision back and working normally again.

I can see..

I can actually fucking see again.. And It's amazing.

I looked from Noah to Leo, then to Ino to Ray and finally to Tsunade.

I even looked towards my doctor who stood  beside me, a brown haired woman with long hair greeting me with a bright smile.

I smiled, as well, liking that I could see her now. Instead of just hearing her voice.

Huh.. So that's what she looked like...

Hmm..

"Uh.. N-Naruto?"

A soft voice suddenly called out from beside me which made my eyes immediately widen, reality flooding back.

Oh shit.. Hinata?

I can finally see her.

I whipped my head towards her and immediately saw her smiling back at me, her gorgeous lavender eyes holding tears in them.

She looked from both of my eyes and gasped, taking her hand up and rubbing my right cheek, right below my grey eye.

"Naruto.. Oh Naruto." She sobbed out, speechless. She then went and pounced on me, her hands wrapping themselves around my neck tightly, as if I'd leave her.

I chuckled and hugged her just as tightly, my arms holding her securely to my body.

She cried happily into my chest, her hands clawing at my hospital gown from the pent up emotions she felt. "Naruto.. I was so worried. Now, you have your eyes.. I'm so happy." She spoke through sobs, Noah gasping and also, running up.

"Daddy!" He yelled and jumped on the bed, the doctor giggling at that.

He went up and hugged me, around my neck as well, my eyes staring down at the young boy who was smiling brightly up at me, his eyes both blue..

Reminding me of how I, used to look.

Ray and Leo chuckled and walked up, now standing by the end of my bed.

Ray hissed, eyeing my grey eye with a grimace. "Damn, Boss. Now, you kinda look like an alien." Ray laughed out which made Leo laugh as well, they both dabbing each other up for his playful comment.

Hinata and Noah let me go and giggled too making me growl, my eyes snapping towards them in nothing bur annoyance.

I rollee, my slightly swollen eyes, mt blondr head shaking. "It's not funny, you guys." I snarled out on which they stopped, for my sake, smiles still on their faces.

Noah still held a sly smirk on his face, cutting his eyes back at me. He then laughed, nervously. "Sorry, dad." He said teasingly making me smirk, my hands coming out at him.

"Come here, you!" I shouted and grabbed him up and tickled him like crazy, his laughs growing louder and louder, his body falling over mines in a frenzy.

My fingers dug in the right places which has my son squirming, the others letting out giggles to see Noah in so much happiness in me.. better..

The doctor smiled at our plauful encounter but then, tapped me on my shoulder ehoch mqde me eventually stop ny actions.

I looked up at her and she kept her smile, my attention on her. "Just remember what I said. Easy on the eyes. You still need the blindfold.. So your eyes can heal. Every other hour you need them covered, until the morning. You, will be released in three days, alright." She informed friendly and I nodded slowly, smiling at her.
