Chapter Fourteen ~ More than just being sad (Raines P.O.V)

Raine quickly looked around only to see Ocean dash off then a voice,then someone new came. Blue,white scarf,what he guessed to be an artificial eye. "Yea....?" Raine questioned him "there was.....a weird thing! Then that -pant- girl came....i-im not sure if she made it thoug-h..." the person responded "So--you just let her...fight it off for you?" Raine said,sounding slightly angry "I co-couldn't do anything!" The person replied "Well who are you anyways?" Vendaal chimbed in "I-im Myso" Myso awnsered. "You talk to Myso,ill go see if i can find Ocean!" Raine said Angerliy to both of them and went off into the forest. He caught a glimpse of light and went towards it thats...?....that is the flashlight tha- his houghts were cut off by blood splattered everywhere,he looked around after grabbing the flashlight. A limb? He thought curiously it was covered in so much blood that he had to wipe off a bit to see who's it was,it was pure white Oce--no she can't be.....tshe was so powerfull with her magic! This.....no.. he hought scaredly i didn't like her,yes but I'd never wish this upon someone... he suddently heard a bone cracking sound. He turned around frantically,then caught a gimpse of fur,he shone the flashlight on it and saw a creature thing eating something....he kept low and he noticed,that most of that 'food' it has....is pure white with the blood..... then he saw,Somthing..like a bit of a chest...with the heart on it, which was pale purple and glowing more than usual. Ocean's......Ocean is......dead... he thought sadly (kinda sadly) he fekt a twist of anger and guilt form inside him,but he kept quiet. Don't take it out on innocent people.......Don't be what Kein was... he heard something after the creature left,like the noise of crying. It sounded like a child..he started to walk in the direction the noise was coming from,but it was hard as it echoed at times. He finally found what it was,another creature. Wih long silky fur and a beak looking snout it made a noise that sounded slightly like Ocean "run.." it squeaked wait Raine thought,thinking about the book he had at camp,he ran to camp but the thing didn't follow. He grabbed his book and flipped through it "What are yo-" Vendaal tried to ask but got cut off by him "Don't ask" Raine replied. He finnally found the creature on a page and he started to read;
The creature is also very smart,it can mimic what it hears from coversations and/or warnings,it can also mimic the sounds of laughing or crying children,to lore prey over if its hungry enough. The beast is easy to tame aslong as you have food for it,it's a good bodyguard and will protect you at all costs once you tame it.
Raine dropped the book and ran to the spot were that weird spider creature was and followed the blood drip trail,it went into a cave and then something poked it's head out of the bushes beside it--another one,Raine dragged it out of the bushes then dragged it away. Keeping a grip on it as it flailed,he finally found a big enough rock jammed in the ground and bashed the creatires head on it,promptly killing it. He followed the noise again and found the creature,it mimicked what Raine thought it overheard from Ocean "run" it said,Raine held out the dead creature for it. It grabbed it withs its paw and looked at it for a few moments before saying "safe?" In a tottslly different vojce that he didn't reconize,it sounded scared and young,Raine nodded "Ah" it said in another different voice,it started to eat the creature and yellow blood oozed out of it. The creature put its giant paw on Raines head and slightly patted him on the heas "Small" it told him,in another voice "friend?" Another voice,but it sounded familiar "Friend" Raine said back,the creatures tail flicked happily and it's eye's changed to the same colour as Raines,it suddently jabbed it's claw in the ground and lifted up some dirt,making a breif mark "Stand" it told him "tommorrow,dawn" and it promptly jabbed a branch in the middle of that spot,it trotted away happliy "did i just tame that damn beast?" Raine muttered to himself alright...thats cool he thought and walked back to the camp.. he quickly fell asleep after.

Next day :D

Raine woke up,then remembered what that beast told him. He quickly went to the spot and saw the creature,it looked happy. It was holding something "brought a present" it said in a different voice again,it dropped a peice of ribbon infront of him. Raine picked it up "thanks.." i guess? It smiled slightly "back" it told him "happy" it said,finnally laying down. All it's four eyes had the same happiness in them,he suddently heard a kind of rumbling sound how does it...know how to purr? He thought "You have seen a cat im guessing?" Raine asked it,it nodded damn this thing is smart he thought. He put his hand on the creatures back and it felt as soft as velvet,he sat down by it "What else can you do pther then the eye thing?" He asked,it started to shift its fur colours and eye colours,it was really cool "You choose the colour" it told him,still shifting colours. He noticed one with light grey and white,cloudy and leopard print. It has blue eyes,and thats when Raine said stop. It was pretty now,other than its grey and yellow eyes. "Damn you are the coolest thing I've ever made friends with" he told it,it smiled. "I'd better get going.." he said starting to walk,he heard it following him. He turned and saw its cheerful face,he was holding the ribbon too. Once he got back the awe on Vendaal and Myso faces were priceless "This creature is friendly" he told them,its tail slightly wagging. Vendaal went up to Raine and said "are you crazy? " angerliy at him,him and Raine fought for awhile until the creature hooked its claw in Vendaals scarf and dragged him backwards. Its then put its paw on Raines head again "Don't fight" it said to Vendaal "Fighting is bad,it makes me angry too" its voiced switched again "woah.." Vendaal said "alright...fine" Vendaal told him,Myso was just standing there. Myso finnally walked up to it and looked at it for a few moments,it looked down at him and put its claw on his head then looked at Raine "Friend?" It said again in that familiar voice,Raine glanced at Myso "Yeah...friend" he told it,it promptly took its claw off Mysos head,it then pointed a claw at Vendaal. Waiting for an Awnser "Friend.." Raine told it again,it made a small purr then grabbed Myso with it's big paw,it lightly tapped his artificial eye "Neat" it said to him "Neat?" Myso asked,sounding worried "Its artificial,never seen it before" the creature said,in another voice. It set Myso down and patted him on the head. It then looked at Vendaal "You are very interesting.." it told him "I've never seen it before....very neat" it nodded Vendaal used his music magic and magic two blue stabby mc stabby things and thy both went into its paw,it easily plucked them out as it was a big creature "Funny" it told him...
