Winter Break...
Sunday, December 22ndHalfway through the flight I still was sound asleep on the plane with around seven hours to go.
I start waking up from previously leaning on Maria's shoulder, noticing something off as I start to stir from my slumber.
Maria isn't this tall, why do I feel weird?
I look up and my eyes widen at the person in from of me, Dante is there fast asleep right beside me. I glance around at our assigned seats and almost everyone had moved to different spots.

Trying not to wake Dante up, I look past him and look to my cousin for answers.
"Jake, what happened to the seating arrangement?" I asked in a hushed whisper, while also realizing we were the only ones awake out of the six of us.
He looks up from his book, looking like as if he had to read a whole essay about it.
"Where should I start? Maria wanted to get pictures from the window, but she complained about you blocking the way so I switched seats with her.

"...Irene then felt like she was uncomfortable with her seat because of how the person In front of her had their chair low so she ended up switching with Andrew so she could talk to Maria..."

"I had went to the washroom before we took off, and when I got back Dante was in my spot and Andrew had moved to the back again. I didn't bother asking them to move so that's basically what happened..."
I nodded slowly trying to process the story and left it at that. I sigh looking out the window, it was fairly cloudy considering the weather. But it still looked very nice.
I took my own reading material out of my carry-on bag and decided to entertain myself with the book for the duration of the flight.
Half an hour after I started reading I noticed the boy beside me soundly sleeping making small snoring noises. I shake my head Giggling softly and shrug it off while continuing to read my book. I had to complete this for my English class, and although it was difficult to comprehend some of the wording, I did my best to understand the content.
I feel shuffling from beside me, so turning around I see Dante wake up rubbing his eyes as if he was a kid getting. I laugh at how childish he looks and grin.
"Good afternoon sleepyhead, had a good nap?" I smile at him and he shrugs his shoulders still groggy from sleeping.
I give him a pat on the shoulder and continue to read my book. He peers over me easily due to his height and just continues to read along with me since he seemingly doesn't have anything else to do.
I sigh as I close the book in my hand and look at him in hope of actually having a decent conversation.
"So, what's your plans once we get to France?" I ask him genuinely curious on how he plans to spend our trip there.
"Not much, we'll probably go to a lot of places but I'm hoping to at not need to speak French while I'm there. What about you?"
"I actually wanted to have a picnic near the Eiffel Tower and sightsee a bit."
