You waited at home on the sofa, chilling with the two gifts for Todoroki you had bought for his birthday.

You also cooked up some high quality soba just for him, it was nice and hot and you could smell it's deliciousness.

This made you nervous, you were sure he wouldn't be mad, but what if he couldn't handle the responsibility?

You hear the sound of a car door shutting and the shuffling of keys, the door opened to your husband who was tiredly looking down.

"Shoto!" You chirped, pulling him into a hug and he smiled, embracing you.

"What are you doing up so late, my love?" Shoto asked and you scoffed.

"It's your birthday, of course I'm going to wait for you!" You giggled, leading him to the kitchen, he gave a smile, thankful that you remembered his birthday.

"You...made soba?" Todoroki questioned as you gave him a bowl of his favourite dish, you nodded and he kissed your forehead.

"Thank you, my love" He looked down happily at his soba, excited to eat it.

The two of you are together before you pulled out your presents and gave them to him, his eyes widened in surprise.

"You didn't have to..." He said, giving a small smile, you never failed to make him happy despite it being a tiring day.

"But I did~ now open them!" You giggled, a beaming smile on your face. Shoto unwrapped the first present slowly.

(Insert some bomb ass present, because I don't know what the duck Shoto would want)
Shoto's eyes widened and he quickly embraced you once more, burying his face in the crook of your neck.

"This is amazing, thank you, darling" Shoto hummed, you smiled sweetly.

"Open the next one, silly!" You encouraged and he nodded, pulling away and taking the other gift.

He unwrapped it and revealed a...pacifier?
(Those things babies suck on)

"Um...what's this?" He asked innocently, picking up the small toy.

"It's a pacifier!" You hinted at your pregnancy, but he didn't understand.

"I'm not...OH!-oh my goodness, my love!" He finally understood the circumstance, looking down at your stomach and then jumping onto you.

He hugged you tightly and you giggled.
"You're going to be a father, Shoto!" You cheered, playing with his hair.

You continued to cuddle him, enjoying his warmth, before you heard him sniffle on your shoulder. You rubbed his back as you felt your should become wet.
