As I was walking to Y/N's house, I noticed a black cat walking down the street.

"Hm? Where's your owner?" I asked, smiling and petting the cat on the top on the head.

The cat purred really cutely and I took out my phone to get a picture of the adorable thing.

"I might have to catnap you if your parents don't-" I raised my head as a sudden flash came from the cat.

I pulled away and covered my eyes, opening them to see a fluffy paw.

"What the-"

I looked at my hands and only saw them replaced as paws.

'Oh not this fucking shit-'

I looked around at my small body and then noticed the other cat was staring at me...
Menacingly.

I narrowed my eyes.
"Listen here you adorable little shit, what did you- WAIT!" I called out, in loud shrieks of cat purrs as the other cat ran away.

"Get back here!" I said, chasing after the devil cat.

"Oh, a quarter- Wait no-" I ended up losing the cat and crashing into a tall pair of legs.

I scrunched up my tiny face in annoyance before hearing a familiar voice.

"Well, hello there~" Y/N, to my surprise was standing right in front of me.

I purred and meowed, yes please SAVE ME!

"Awww~ what a pretty kitty, you remind me of my boyfriend~" Y/N paused for a moment.

"He isn't a cat- but he's very handsome just like you" Y/N said, petting my head and I purred smugly.

It suddenly began to rain and I let out an adorable meow.
Obviously to get this fine snack to pick me up and save me.

Because my phone is GONE.
The cat pics are GONE.

"Aww, we don't want you getting wet now, do we?" Y/N chirped and I grinned.

"Okay, now no pooping on the floor, I'll grab you some food" Y/N's cooed, petting me and laying me on a pillow next to their bed.

'At least clean your room, holy hell'

I jumped onto Y/N's bed, my cat claws slightly scratching Y/N's bed sheets, oops.

I did the usual cat rolling and jumping over their bed. It was surprisingly comfy.
I looked up and saw a large bump under the covers.

'I really hope that isn't a body pillow'

"I'm back~ here's some yummy food" Y/N hummed, grinning as they saw an adorable cat on their bed.

They placed down the food on the floor and mumbled a chirpy 'enjoy'.

'Show me some attention, it's tiring being a cat'

They walked in with their phone, giving a worried expression.

"My boyfriend was supposed to come over today...He hasn't been returning my calls"

I felt slightly guilty, seeing them face-plant into their pillows and mope.
I cuddled next to them.

'Sorry, he's busy being a cat'

"Could at least tell me he didn't want to see me, the jerk" they groaned.

I felt mildly offended, but also sympathetic.

'Don't be mad...No, stop making that whiny face...ugh'

I jumped onto their back, bouncing my paws on their shoulders to get their attention.

They turned their head and raised a brow before smiling, they rolled to their stomach and hugged me.

"You're a lot better~" they complimented and now I was just offended.

'Excuse me, what'
'Did I really get replaced by a CAT?'

You let out a sigh.
"I need to shower, wait here and be good" They said, leaving.

My cat eyes widened.

'Now, I'm not a bad person'
'Not at all...'

I let my furry paws scurry across the hallways.

'I'm just curious- I mean, worrying for their safety and stuff...'

'What if they gets attacked by a bath soap?'

I made my way to the bathroom door.

'Don't do it, Shinso. You're better than this'

'But am I really though?'

I heard the shower turn on and the sounds of clothes shuffling.

'I can't do it, I'll feel too guilty'

I began to walk away.

'Plus, their bed's really comfy-'

"Kitty?" I heard them say, I almost turned around.

'Whatever you do, don't turn around-'

And they picked me up.

"You're fur is all dirty now..."

'I like where this is going...I mean-'

I looked behind me, almost instantly turning away.

'I am so dead after this'

I jumped from her arms, looking back once before mentally screaming at myself and running away.
