Doing some lawyering practice today, wish me luck~

Todoroki couldn't place his finger on what was so off about Y/N.

There was always something about her that others didn't seem to notice, something downright sinister.

The way her expression would completely change whenever she had turned away from someone.

The way she had managed to negotiate, blackmail or charm herself out of a situation.

Those cold, empty eyes that seemed to lack any emotion whenever she spoke.

But no one ever noticed.

Perhaps it was just his imagination, but soon that suspicion turned to curiosity and that curiosity turned to interest.

"Oh, Y/N" Todoroki said, seeing Y/N in the library, studying.

She gave an enthusiastic smile, waving to Todoroki. He returned the favour and gave a small smile.

"Shoto-kun! It's good to see you, would you like to study with me?" She offered, her smile wide and seemingly forced.

"Thank you" He said shortly, sitting down and taking out his textbooks.

"How are the exams going, did you and Bakugou doing well?" You asked, referring to the hero license exams.

"Yeah, it went surprisingly well, although it was a lot different from the last exam" Shoto responded, looking into Y/N's eyes, that seemed very intent.

He didn't like her eyes.
Not because they weren't pretty, but because they were so...
Like his mother's

Don't get him wrong, Shoto loved his mother, but when looking into Y/N's eyes all he saw was steam and scorching water.

And that exact stare from his mother was how he figured it out; Y/N was different.

"You won't believe what happened with Mirio and-"

"Before you continue, there's actually something I'd like to discuss" Todoroki interrupted, making Y/N raise her brow.

"Oh? Okay!" Y/N smiled.

Y/N gave him a smile, her eyes awaiting his every word. As if hungrily.

But Todoroki couldn't bring himself to accuse her of anything, what would he say?

'Oh hey why are your eyes so creepy looking?'

No, that would sound rude and he actually didn't want to hurt her feelings.

"What did you want to talk about?" Y/N asked eagerly.

"A-Actually...I was wondering if you..." Todoroki wasn't thinking about his next words, seeing her eyes made him gulp nervously.

He felt butterflies tingle through his stomach.

'Why does my stomach feel weird' He thought to himself, wondering if her eyes just simply made him sick.
