We got Touya Todoroki hiding from his father, who I have made more abusive for the sake of PLOT.

"112, what's your emergency?" You asked, holding the phone to your ear.

"I-I...um..hi..." A feeble voice whispered into the phone.

"Can I help you?" You asked, quieting down.

"I need help..really b-bad..." the voice whimpered, you could hear soft cries from the phone.

"What's your name?" You questioned, thinking this might've been a prank call.

"T-Touya...p-please...send h..help..eep!" The child squeaked out, you could hear aggressive footsteps.

"How old are you?" You asked.

"I-I'm 8.." he mumbled.

"What's your address, Touya?" You said, as softly as possibly. You used the name to attempt to calm him down.

"P-please come quick! H-he's going to find me!" He whispered, his voice shaky and filled with tears.

"It's okay, I'm going to protect you, but I need you to tell me where you are" You said, as calmly as possible, despite hiding your concern for this boy.

"I-I'm in my mom's c..closet...we live in (address)" He whispered nervously, his heavy breaths could be heard through the phone.

"Turn your phone on silent for me, Touya" you said, he took a deep breath and silenced his phone.

"O-ok I did..." he said.

"Who are you hiding from?" You questioned, gritting your teeth.

You heard loud footsteps and no response from Touya, you immediately sent a cop car to the address.

"Touya?" You asked.

"He's here" Touya whispered.

There was a loud grunt and the slow fade of footsteps, you heard a gulp.

You were smart enough to know the kid was hiding, so you didn't say anything. Instead you sent him a text to the number on his phone.
