IT HURTS him everytime Halejiah avoided to look at him. He misses how her transparent eyes adores him before. All that she can see now is her anger. Noon, siya ang puno ng galit dito. Ngayon naman, si Halejiah na ang panay tulak sa kanya palayo. Like he have a contagious disease.

3 years ago, he was really confused about his feelings. Ang alam niya lang ay gusto niya itong kasama palagi. Lubos niyang pinagsisisihan no'ng nasaktan niya ito ng pisikal maging emosyonal ng ilang beses. The moment Halejiah forgave him, he was horrified towards himself. He didn't think he deserves it. Yet he was very grateful about how forgiving she is. Never did he know, that he unknowingly took advantage of her good heart.

He know what Halejiah wants. She wants affection and that days, he was very confused if he was capable of giving what she wants. It's easy for him to say he wants her but too hard for him to determine if it could be more than that.

Halejiah wants only one thing.

Love.

By and by, he can see her affection towards him. Hindi man nito sinabi pero nakikita niya sa mga mata ni Halejiah ang tunay nitong nararamdaman. She wouldn't forgive him in the first place if his intuitions were wrong. Hindi lang dahil sa lubos na kabaitan kaya pinatawad siya ni Halejiah noon. Alam niyang higit pa roon kung bakit ganoon nalang kadali dito ang magpatawad.

She's easy to read. That's what he wants about her. He won't ever doubt her because her eyes will speak every little feeling she tried to hide inside.

When she left, Khalid broke in to his office and gave him a punch. That stings but Beaux knew he deserves it.

"You fucktard! You knew she loves you so you took advantage of her!" He yelled straight to his face. Knowing how his cousin cares for Halejiah, it irritates him. Pero wala siyang balak patulan si Khalid. His words are like daggers that pierced his heart deeply.

"Wag mo na siyang guluhin. You care for her, don't you?" He laughed mockingly. "You're just to stupid and blind to admit it. You know what, she deserve everything except you!" He added before he stormed out from his office.

He made a promise to Laura. He promised her he won't ever love anyone else. He's a man of honor and he can't afford to break his promise. Nanliliit siya sa sarili kapag nararamdamang unti-unti niyang nalalabag ang kanyang pangako nang dahil kay Halejiah.

But as years goes by without Halejiah, he feels like, he won't mind breaking his promises just to get her back. Walang oras at araw na hindi niya naiisip si Halejiah. He misses her genuine smiles. She's very outgoing and never ceases to amuse him. Funny how she have to vanish for him to realize how much she means to him.

He didn't mind dishonoring his words if it means taking her back. His lessons learned were; Let bygones be bygones. Forgive and forget. Madness will abandon the most important things or person that exist. And that, a person can grieve for his lost but shouldn't dwell on it that much.

When she came back, nabuhayan siya ng dugo. Pero natatakot siyang baka wala na ang isang bagay na lagi niyang nakikita sa mga mata ni Halejiah noon. That spark...that affection.
