Taehyung's apartment was messy and Jungkook felt the irritating itch to stand up and start to tidy the place. He had grown up with such an embarrassingly neat man, he wasn't used to a chaotic environment like that.
The boy stretched his limbs over the sofa cushions, feeling restless. He had kinda moved to Tae's place (not much to the older's liking, but who asked for his opinion?) and tried to slowly cut the remaining ties that connected him to his dad.
And this would've been great and everything, since the date with Y/N had gone pretty well and he would now be able to concentrate on the two most important things: His job and his girl - if only things would be that easy.
He had appreciated the time he spent with Y/N, really, but there were just things she couldn't give him, things he needed, things he was so used to getting by just a flick of is pinky that he had forgotten how it felt without them.
The adrenaline that shot through his veins, every time he dominated another person had managed to make him feel soso alive and now he felt- weak.
Weak, because he wasn't able to prove his control anymore and he was disgusted of himself because he knew how disappointed Y/N would be if she knew his thoughts. He was so fucked up and he knew it, but he would have to restrain himself, in order to make things work.
And he really, really wanted to make things work. So he didn't go out to get laid, like he usually would and just stayed where he was, on the old worn out sofa of Taehyung.
His head shot up when an annoyingly repeating sound emerged from the entrance and it took him some time to realize that it came from someone knocking harshly on the door.
The dark haired groaned and forced himself to stand up, bare feet making quiet tapping sounds while he walked over to the entrance door.
The knocking stopped the moment he opened and Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise.

"Don't say that!" You protested, laughing at Jimin over the phone.
"But it's true." The boy insisted, grin evident in his voice, "Whatever, how is it going with Jisung?"
"Who? O-Oh J-Jisung, yeah..." You hadn't told Jimin about Jungkook, thinking about how he used to despise the older with all his guts - for good measure, looking at how Jungkook was a total ass to him. But now that he asked about Jisung - whom you hadn't waisted a single thought about, to be honest - you felt exposed in some way.
"Not really- uhm, I haven't seen him for a while and I don't think that he's that interesting anym-"
"HA" Jimin chimed up in victory, "Tolda ya so. He's boring. Go get a really hottie, you deserve the perfect man honey."
You rolled your eyes smiling, "Try and sound even more like the most cliche gay best friend."
He giggled, "Not possible. But for real now, you need a boyfriend or I'll be stuck with you forever."
It went like that for a while, while you made your way from work back home, hanging up when you reached your apartment.
You were just about to take out your keys when the front door was pulled open and your mom's face appeared in front of you, "W-Was that Jungkook? Did you talk to Jungkook?"
You frowned, "Did you watch me through the window?"
"Don't try to distract from you." Yoona said insistingly and it was only now that you noticed the strong alcohol smell coming from your mother.
