Chapter 29: No Need To Say Goodbye

Kim's POV

I began to sing. They meant the whole world to me. They had to know what they meant to me. They had to. This was probablt the last time we were gonna see each other. They had to know.

"It started out as a feeling

Which then grew into a hope
Which then turned into a quiet thought
Which then turned into a quiet word

And then that word grew louder and louder
'Til it was a battle cry

I looked at Kendall. Indicating that these ones were for him.

"Just because everything's changing
Doesn't mean it's never
Been this way before

All you can do is try to know
Who your friends are
As you head off to the war

Pick a star on the dark horizon

I looked at Becca, Logan and the others. These were for them.

I turned back to Kendall. He was smiling proudly at me.

"Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
'Til they're before your eyes" I teared up.

I finished with tears in my eyes. This was it. Now they knew. The SK8 was never gonna die. We'll always remember each other. That was important. The seven others ran up to me for a group hug. Rebecca was in tears, so was Kendall. Carlos and Alexa were literally in floods. I laughed a little. The school below us clapped.

"I'm gonna miss you guys." I said.

"Kim," Logan began. "You just said it: No Need To Say Goodbye. You guys are frozen in my memory. You've made the last year here so much fun. I'm always gonna remember you dorks. And-" He looked at Becs. "I wouldn't ever even dare to forget you." He said.

"Aw Logan!" She cried and hugged him. As she did so, I turned to Kendall. The tears that had stopped, began to roll down again. He wiped them away. But his own eyes were teary.

"Kim, you are the best thing that could ever have happened to me." He said. "I can't tell you what you mean to me. You are my entire world and I really jus can't believe that I won't ever see you again. But I promise that--"

I would've listened to what he had to say, but what I did was a little bit more important. I kissed him. He wrapped his arms tightly around me and kissed back. Tears still rolling down his cheeks, and he pulled away.

"Kim I-I have to tell you something."

"What is it?" I asked sniffling into his chest.

"Kim I-"
