Request: May I request a depressed Scott Lang? Perhaps with the other Avengers trying to help him out? Specifically Sam. Requested by anon.
A/N: I only do character x reader, but I tried to also make Sam more involved.

"Wilson, I need your help" you jumped on the couch next to help.

"Help with what? I'm a little busy at the moment" Sam asked.

"Watching a movie for the 100th time doesn't count as busy. It's not like you're gonna miss anything and you can still watch it after you're done helping me" you remarked.

"It's a classic, okay! So, what do you want help with?".

"Scott... After Hope left him, he changed. He wouldn't eat like he used to, he doesn't laugh, he wouldn't go out, he just sits in his room and watches sad movies or sleeps" you explained.

"And how can I help?" Sam was confused.

"Well, you're his closest friend, after Rogers".

"And why can't he do it? Isn't he better at that kinda talk?".

"Yes and no. He's good at motivating people and stuff. While, you are funny and know how to make people laugh and at the moment I think what he needs is a little fun time to know what he's missing out on. I know you don't like speeches and all that but-".

"Alright, I'll do it. You had me at I'm funny".

"Can I come in?" Sam knocked on Scott's door.

"I- uh, yeah just one second... you can come in" Scott stuttered.

"Are you alright man?" Sam was concerned, seeing that there were a lot of tissues on the bed, black circles under his eyes and eye bags.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I- I'm great. I'm- I'm not crying. Something got into my eyes. The tissues are here because... because I have a cold" Scott faked a cough.

"Scott, it's alright to cry, man. Every man does, from time to time. There's nothing to be ashamed of" Sam patted his shoulder.

"Even you?" he almost couldn't believe him.

"Even I. Hey listen, I'm not great at giving speeches and Y/n told me to cheer you up, so let's go out together to the bar" Sam said.

"Y/n? She said that? Is she coming to?" Scott seemed hopeful.

"Yeah, she cares about your well being. No, she's not. She doesn't even know I came up with this idea. I was thinking about a boys night out" Sam informed him.

"Oh, I see... I can't, as I said, I have a cold. Maybe some other time, buddy" Scott was disappointed.

"I don't think you got this right. I'm not suggesting. We are going" Sam was now more serious.

"Yo, meet me outside in ten" Sam passed by your room.

"Hey, wait a minute. You can't just pass by, say something and go. I need explanation" you ran after him.

"Just trust me on this".

"What are we waiting for?" Scott asked.

"You'll see.... Here she comes" Sam smirked.

"who? oh!".

"So, where are we going? Oh, hey Scott!" you greeted.

"The bar".

"And you think that's a good idea?" you crossed your arms.

"Yeah, sure. Drinking the pain away is one of my specialties" Sam said with confidence.

"Oh, wow and you think that's healthy?". Sam was about to open his mouth to say something but you spoke again "don't answer that".

After a couple of drinks, Sam was flirting with someone, while you had to stay with Scott to keep an eye on his, since he was already drunk.

"I'm glad you came" he muttered.

"Sure, anything for a friend".

"You're so beautiful" he stood up and kissed you, but quickly lost balance and sat on his chair again.

"You're drunk, Scott. Luckily, you won't remember this in the morning... I hope" you smiled.

"You know what they say, drunk people tell the truth and all that shit. I love you, Y/n" he tried to keep his eyes open.

"You don't mean that. Your heart was broken and you need some kind of affection, but I can't. This would be called taking advantage of you. If we're gonna do this, then we'll do it right, if you even still like me in a couple of months or in the morning".
