I Tried (Peter Parker + Avengers)

Request: Ok so this request is dark, no pressure to write if you're uncomfortable. So I was rewatching the first avengers movie and Bruce "you can't, I know, I tried" about killing him. Can you do something around that but the reader is the one who says it? She accidentally outs her depression and suicidal thoughts to the team but everyone reminds her that she's loved and they're there for her in the end. Can you have her in a relationship with peter since she's that age? Requested by anon.
A/N: The ability of the reader is that she can turn the atmosphere around her radioactive or whenever she gets really angry. Do not read if this is triggering.

You chose the captain's side, but ever since, you've been depressed and hated your life. You didn't break up with your boyfriend Peter. It just felt sad that all your friends were torn apart and couldn't live together or near each other anymore. You were staying with Wanda, but since she and Vision were dating secretly, she wasn't often at home and you always felt alone. Peter couldn't visit you because of school and you couldn't visit him, because the authorities were after you. You were emotionally drained, that one day you sat in the bathtub and cut your wrists. You watched as the blood started to flow. The water turned red and you kinda felt free. Suddenly, you felt the wound closing. You opened your eyes and your wrists stopped bleeding and the wounds completely closed. You couldn't  believe what you saw, that you cut them again, but it kept healing. You stood up and went to wash your hands in the sink. You got so angry that you smashed the mirror. You're hand bled but quickly healed. You discovered a new power that you didn't know you had. Apparently, you can heal so fast. But you weren't gonna let this go. You tried to shoot yourself in the head the next day, but it didn't work. You tried poison, but you only felt sick and threw up. You jumped off a building at night and you broke almost every bone in your body, but 5 minutes later it was like nothing has happened. You always felt the pain though.

"You called us here. We are not gonna play by your rules. You need our help, we'll do it our way" you yelled at Tony.

"Shhh. The adults are talking here" Tony shushed you.

You started to get angry "Just because I'm young, doesn't mean that I'm wrong".

"Peter, if you could escort y/n to her-" you interrupted Fury.

"to my cell. I know you can watch everything from there" you said.

"The cell was just-" you interrupted him again.

"In case you needed to kill me, but you can't. I know, I tried everything" you finally spoke.

Everyone looked at you in  petty and shocked way.

"I got lonely. I was depressed. Everyone had something to focus on, but not me" you tried to justify.

"Why didn't you say anything?" Wanda asked.

"you were happy with Vision. I didn't want to make you worry" you answered.

"What about me? We're a team y/n" Steve reminded you.

"you had enough on your plate. You felt more pain than any of us. I didn't want to add more to the list" you explained.

"Nonsense. There's no 'I feel pain more than you'. We're all hurt the same way. And because I'm the captain, you should've come to  me. I'm here for you anytime you feel like talking" he informed you.

"I'm so sorry. It's all my fault. I divided the team. It must have affected you the most. How could I be so selfish? Because of me you had to flee, leave your life behind, couldn't visit Peter, you felt like you couldn't talk to anyone that you felt so lonely. I am really truly sorry" Tony realized what he's done.

"It's not your fault" you assured him.

"Why didn't you say anything to me? I thought we didn't keep secrets from each other. You were willing to leave me?" Peter asked in a sad tone.

"I wanted you to have a happy life. And if I was dead, you would've found some one else. Here, near you, someone who you can see every day" you explained.

"But I don't want anyone else. I love you and only you" he expressed.

"Y/n we are all here for you. Whenever you feel lonely just come to any of us, we'll listen" Natasha added.

"Yes. No matter our differences or which side we were on, we'll always love you and be there for you if you needed us. If you died. I don't know what I would've done. Please, please don't do that again" Tony begged.

"I just, I- didn't want to see you torn apart. I thought maybe my death would bring you all together again. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt anyone" you apologized.

"Hey hey hey. Don't ever apologize. It's not your fault. We should've paid more attention. Do you promise to tell me if you ever felt like that again?" Steve asked.

"Alright, I promise".

"Since we're all here and are about to fight a new threat. I just wanted to say I'm glad the team is back together and I apologize for signing the accords without consulting you guys" Tony apologized.

"I also want to apologize for standing against you and fighting you"  Steve said.

"Can we go kill some aliens now" Peter joked.

"Y/n, you ready?" Steve asked.

"yes, captain" you gave him a smile.
