Request: Can you write a marvel fanfiction, preferably multi chapter, where the reader is a single mom with a special needs daughter, she meets the avengers and manages to make Loki fall for her? Requested by @harmonywiccan.
Your life was a mess. Your boyfriend left you as soon as he found out you were pregnant and you never heard from him again. You were already working two jobs to pay the bills and when you finally had your daughter, although it was the best thing that happened to you, she was partially deaf and with time you also noticed that she has learning difficulties. Life went on and things only got harder. The small house you inherited from your mother was destroyed in the war against outer space species that attacked the earth, but this time it wasn't them that destroyed the house, it was the avengers, as a collateral damage. You survived and were thankful for the life you had, at least you have your daughter and you're not starving or living on the streets.
On a sunny day, you were in the park with y/d/n and your best friend. She was playing and you were talking to your friend and got distracted, when you looked at the playground y/d/n was gone. You and your friend split up to search for her, only to find her talking to a strange, tall man. Your rushed to her and hugged her.
"Honey, what did I tell you about talking to strangers?" You confronted her.
"It's alright don't worry. I'm not a murderer, I promise. Well, not anymore. I was just returning this" the strange man handed your daughter the ball she had.
"What? Wait a second, I know you. I've seen you before" you said.
"Yeah, I've been told that a lot lately and when I tell them who I am they freak out, so please don't freak out. I'm Loki son of Odin, god of mis-".
"Please don't hurt her!" You interrupted.
"Why would I h-. I've changed. I'm not the same man I was a few years ago. Besides, I was never after children. What kind of monster do think I am?" He tried to explain.
"The kind that has no mercy or empathy. If you're truly who you say you are, then just stay away from us. Come on, let's go baby" you held your daughter's hand and left before he could finish.
Due to your quick, big paces, y/d/n tripped over. You carried her and walked faster, not noticing that her hearing aid fell as well.
Luckily, Loki noticed it and picked it up "Ma'am, you drop-". But it was too late.
"Y/n, why isn't y/d/n responding? I've been talking to her for the past ten minutes, but she didn't say a word" your friend informed you.
"She's probably traumatized after seeing that guy, Loki. I'll go check on her".
"I don't think so. She's a kid, I don't think she knows who he is or what he did".
"Honey, what's wrong? Why aren't you answering aunt y/b/f/n?... Y/d/n?" when she didn't respond you turned her to face you, but she was surprised and startled to see you.
"Why are you ignoring me, baby?".
"Mommy, I can't hear you" she got scared and started crying. You looked at her ear and noticed the hearing aid was missing.
"Shit! It's alright baby. Don't be scared, we'll figure this out. Oh, shit! You can't hear me" you pulled her closer to you and hugged her, trying to comfort her until she fell asleep.
"y/b/f/n we have a problem. Y/d/n's hearing aid is missing. I think she dropped it while we were in the park. I'm going to search for it. You stay with her, incase she woke up" you informed her.
As soon as you opened the door, Loki was standing there.
"Motherfucker! You startled me-".
"My apologies. I didn't mean too".
"What are you doing here? How did you know I live here? Did you follow me? Are you here to kill us? Because I assure you I'm more than capable-".
"You ask too many questions. I simply came to return this. Y/d/n dropped it when she tripped" he informed you.
"How do you know my daughter's name?" you were suspicious of him.
"In case you'd forgotten. We had a small talk before you came and panicked".
"That's what a normal mother would do if she saw her daughter talking to a murderer who fears nothing and no one. Are you gonna give me that or are you gonna keep standing there?".
"Right. Here you go".
"Don't ever come back here again" you grabbed the hearing aid from his hand and closed the door in his face. Your friend was leaning on the counter table, sipping tea and smirking.
"What?".
"You should've at least thanked him" she replied.
"Are you nuts? Don't you know what he did?".
"I do, but he seemed like he changed. I mean he didn't kill you and I don't see the avengers here to fight him, so maybe he really changed. Besides, he brought you the piece and spared you some time. You were being rude".
"I was not".
"You were. I think he likes you".
"Shut up".
