Prompts: - "Are you flirting with me?" "You finally noticed?"
- "If you can look me in the eyes and tell me that you feel nothing between us, then I'll stop and leave this alone."
Summary: after flirting with Loki for a long time, he finally notices and confronts you about it.

Being a Valkyrie and Brunnhilde's younger sister made you spent a lot of time with the Odinsons. For your sister it was all work. As for you, let's just say you enjoyed going to 'work'. She helped Thor manage his kingdom and was there for him whenever he needed advice, counseling, a warrior, etc. While leaving Loki in New Asgard, he wanted him to behave so whenever he and Brunnhilde left, they'd summon you to 'babysit' Loki.

For some reason, Loki was kind of uncomfortable around you. You made him feel things he shouldn't. Not to mention, you'd flirt with him every chance you have. You liked him, sure. But that wasn't the only reason why you flirted with him. You wanted to see how he'd react. It made you laugh and you felt happy whenever you saw his reaction, but of course you didn't let it show. You just pretended that it was normal for you.

Until one day, he finally confronted you about it.

"Watcha doin?" You came into the throne room and saw Loki in the corner bending over.

"I see you've been spending a lot of time with Midgardians and my fool of a brother" Loki said without even looking at you.

"Are you jealous?" You smirked.

"You could help, you know?" He tried to convince you to help him clean up the mess he made.

"I could...But that wouldn't give me nearly so pretty a view" you flirted.

"Careful! I'm starting to think you're obsessed with me" he finally turned around to face you.

"In that outfit, who wouldn't be? You're just begging to be cuffed and brought to justice" you flirted again.

"Is that what we're calling justice these days?... wait, are you flirting with me?" he realized.

"You finally noticed?" You smirked.

He gave you a look and then went back to cleaning up. There was silence for a moment before you spoke again.

"You still haven't answered my question" you reminded.

"Which one?".

"Both".

"Obviously, I'm cleaning this up and no, don't be absurd! Why would I, Loki be jealous?" He tittered.

"Right! You never clean up! So, what were you up to?" You crossed your arms, knowing full well that whenever he does something he never ready does, it means that he had a mischievous plan "come on, 'fess up".

"Alright, but you must first stop using Midgardian dialect" he stipulated.

"Deal- I accept your condition".

"The glass was not supposed to break. I unintentionally dropped it".

"Go on... what were you doing with the glass?".

"You cannot tell Thor... I was going to put it on the throne and make it invisible, so when Thor sits on it, it'd break, cut his arse and make him bleed" he confessed.

"That.is.horrible!" you expressed.

"No, it's funny!" He grinned.

"You and I have different understanding of funny. Let's just clean this up before he comes back. I'm sure he would not find this funny" you knelt beside him and started to pick up the glass. A couple of shards were under your knee and managed to make a hole in your outfit and pierce your skin.

When you stood up, you noticed and started to take them out "ow!".

"You are weak! You will not survive the fall of the empire when we are all in ruin. Your bloodline will break faster than the walls built to guard our city" Loki informed you.

"You need to calm down! And have you ever been stabbed with shards of glass? It's worse than being stabbed in the heart with a blade of steel" you were overreacting.

"Now, you are just being dramatic" he rolled his eyes.

"Says the man who wants to put glass on his brother's seat and make him bleed because he thinks it's funny".

"Shut up!".

"Make me!".

"Y/n, you should stop" that was the first time he called you by your name.

"Stop what?".

"This. Whatever you are doing. Flirting!".

"Why?".

"Because...we shouldn't. Flirting would- lead to something else" he got nervous. Yes, he was mischievous and all that, but this has been outside his comfort zone. He has never fallen in love before, until this moment.

That's the first time you see him in this state, so you took a few steps closer to him "to what?".

"You know what" he whispered, unable to look you in the eyes. Instead he was staring at your lips, but then turned his gaze to the ground.

"Maybe, but I want you to tell me" you were now only a few centimeters apart.

"You should treat that wound" he tried to change the subject, but before he could finish, you brought your lips to his.

He was shocked and hesitated for a moment but then kissed you back before pulling away "you shouldn't have done that. We shouldn't do this" he warned.

"Why not?".

"Because we cannot. I cannot. I do not- it won't work. We are different. You are a Valkyrie, a hero. And I'm god of mischief, a villain. You see darling, it does not work!" He didn't deem himself to be worthy of you. He only thought of himself as an evil person. He defined himself by his past.

"That is not true and you know it. I love you, Loki and I'm tired of this. If you can look me in the eyes and tell me that you feel nothing between us, then I'll stop and leave this alone. You'll never have to see me again" you caressed his face.

"You know I can't! And I do not want to live in a place without you, no matter where. You make me happy, Y/n. But I don't deserve you and I don't deserve to be happy" a single tear slipped down his face.

"Bullshit! You are not the man you used to be, you have to know that. You have changed and everybody can see that. If not, Thor would not have let you wander freely, but he believes in you. I believe in you and I'll be with you every step of the way" you made him look you in the eyes, while your hands were still wrapped around his cheek and neck.

"I thought we agreed that you'd stop using Midgardian dialect" he said in a serious tone.

"Fuc- I hate you" you chuckled.

"No, you don't! Come here" this time, he initiated the kiss.
