Twenty

Deanna got into her 4x4 and drove back to her pad, where JiBea are waiting for her.

"You sure you guys don't want to spend the night. I have a guest room upstairs."

"Okay lang naman kaya lang.." Bea leaned in to whisper to Deanna. "Are you okay hearing things?"  Jia slapped Bea's shoulder. "Hon!! Joke lang."

"Thanks for the offer Deanns, pero mas better kung babalik na lang kami ng acco." Jia said her eyes were clearly sleepy and cheeks had color cause of the 2 bottle of wine that they consumed. "Thanks for the night, the steak was delicious."

Bea also made Deanna cooked for them. "Sure Ji."

"Hon, don't forget to thanks Jema for this."

"You don't ha..."

"I know Deanns." She leaned in to whisper to Bea. "Tipsy. She found your liquor cabinet. Sorry."

"Ahh. I see. Well, we better go."

She drove them back to the accommodations and they called it a night.

The following morning, all of them went for a swim and Deanna asked Kuya Rod to prepare some grilled pork and freshly caught fish for the players to munch during.

"Hey." Jema stopped Deanna, who is holding a bowl of grilled fish and pork. "8pm tonight?"

"Oh, yes, sure."

"See you."

Deanna winked at her and smiled at the others before walking away and giving some of what she is holding to other teams.

"What?!" Jema asked the group who is now looking at her smiling widely. "I am having dinner with her cause you guys, lost. Besides, it's not a big deal, it's only dinner." She pointed to her players who are still smiling to her.

"Not a big deal?" Maddie asked Jema with full of sarcasm.

"Nope! Not a big deal." Jema said.

"So what are you wearing?"

"I was thinking a cute dress..." The players laughed hard that made Jema stopped talking.

"Not a big deal pala ha? Pero napag isipan na yung damit?" Maddie said.

"At..!! Kelangan cute dress." Jia said laughing hard.

"Okay I'm done with you guys." Jema said and sat back at her chair. When she noticed that they were talking about another thing besides her, she lowkey-ed looked at Deanna who was laughing loudly with her team. She suddenly realized that she missed making Deanna laugh that hard.

She remembered her conversation with Fhen. She felt giddy knowing that Fhen has already moved on from her, and that she even had her blessing.

They enjoyed their afternoon swimming, not competitively, just enjoying their remaining day on Deanna's island.

On the afternoon, since the sun was on its peak, they transferred to the pool area.

Creamline and Choco Mucho whole coaching staffs, including Mika, Ara, Ella and Bang are seated on a long table sharing lunch together.

"Ready na ba yung cute dress mo?" Den said as she munch on her lunch.

"Ate, pati ba naman ikaw?"

She chuckled. "Nah, I was just kidding on the dress. But are you really ready? Having dinner with her? Alone?"

"It's just a dinner ate."

"I know how rupok you are."

She laughed. "Ate!!"
