Deanna stayed home for a couple more weeks, waiting for the call from Foi. Daisy already spoke with the CEO and she said that Deanna's application was already on the line up.

She was cleaning the house when she got a call from her.

"Hello?" She answered.

"You got it." Daisy said in excitement.

"What?!"

"Yes! You can start tomorrow."

"Oh my God thank you so much Daisy! I owe you big time."

"Nah, you are my friend. Now, I got to go. My boss is here and she wants to speak with me and I think it's about you."

"Okay okay! Thank you again Daisy. Bye." She hung up the phone.

Ate Susan, our maid, said that Deanna danced at that time, but the latter denied. If you are going to ask me. I think she did.

She immediately told Jema and me that night and we celebrated briefly, opening a champagne. They slept early cause its Deanna's first day and Jema has a huge conference call tomorrow.

I was on the study when I received an email from an organization that supports anti-child trafficking. Since I got back on full time on business, I promised myself that I will share my blessing to a lot of organizations.

Medical drives, food sharing, starting a boot camp, charities. Anything that my money can help. I wasn't hesitating on anything, but when I saw this email, this is different. Someone from the past is a part of this organization.

Miguel.

Since he is a pilot, they, I mean his team are flying out the children that are suspected to be used as slaves. Sex slaves to be specific. And, it's a big BIG NO NO.

I can't put my pride first on this kind of situation. Imagine children being held hostage and used for someone's pleasure. Horrible!!

So I replied and asked a meeting with them whenever they are available, which is some time next week.

Since Jia has been busy in the past two days, we haven't been able to talk, properly. I sent her a simple text and shared her this.

She didn't replied immediately but did, so I read it the following morning.

'That is good. Happy for you.'

She replied that simple. I threw my phone back to my bed and stared blank at the ceiling.

'This is hard, I miss her so much.' I said.

I was still on the verge of missing her when someone knocked on my door. "Kain na, anak." Ate Susan said.

"Opo." I shouted and went to the bathroom to wash up.

When I got down, my housemate lovers are already there and halfway done.

"What?" Jema asked me as I sat down in front of her, beside Deanna.

"Anong What?" I asked before forking a bacon.

"Baket nakalukot yang mukha mo?" Jema asked.

"It wasn't." I denied.

"Really?"

"Yes." I said plainly.

"Okay." Jema said but with doubt. She turned to her girlfriend. "Baby, good luck sa first day mo."
