"Congratulations for your 10th client Deanna." Faith said.

"Thank you."

As Deanna went back home to celebrate, a celebration already started.

It's been 3 months since I opened Beast Designs, and as the Architectural magazines have said, my company has the most success rate in the history of architectural firms.

We and Foi Services have been on the top 1 and 2, respectively for the past months. We have competing for big clients and with Faith's competitiveness and my name on business, I can say that it is getting nasty.

"What is happening?" Deanna asked.

"I bagged Mr. Chu's project and Jema here, presented yet another successful presentation to the board. They promoted her."

"Wow, babe! I'm so proud of you!" She kissed her girlfriend in her lips, and I had to look away.

"Get a room guys." I said and left them laughing at my banter.

Ate Susan prepared dinner and Deanna called Daisy to join. The other stood up to get a drink when she felt light headed and accidentally, her hand went directly to my surgery wound and used it to prevent herself from falling.

"Babe." Jema was quick to stand up and assist her girlfriend. Deanna looked at me while I assist her on standing up. "Okay ka lang?"

She tried to subtly touched her nose but surprisingly and luckily there is no blood.

"Oo." She chuckled nervously. "Nabigla lang ng pag-tayo" Jema still worried on her girlfriend and assisted her on sitting down.

I stood up to get the water that she wanted in the first place. I was on the kitchen when I felt a stinging pain on my surgery wound.

I looked at and there was a red stain on my white polo. My surgery wound must have opened when Deanna accidentally pushed it.

When I got back on the dining area, they looked at me and my red stained polo.

"The surgery." Daisy said.

"Yes. Uhm.."

"Oh my God Bei. I'm so sorry."

"Nah. It's fine. I'll just call my doctor."

**

"Thank you Doc Sara." I said and pushed the end button. "She said that I just need to clean it. She's out of the country and is not back until tomorrow." I looked at Jema. "I need you Dra." I smiled sincerely at her.

"Bei, I'm so sorry."

"It's okay, Deanna. Don't worry about it." I said and tried to smiled thru the pain.

"Is it hurting?" Jema said as she clean the wound.

"No." I lied grunting.

"Let's get you to a hospital. This needs not just cleaning." She heard my struggle.

"I can get past this tonight. I'll go tomorrow." Jema looked at me and nodded. She knew I was stubborn enough not to listen.

--

"You need another surgery." Dra. Sara said after she examined my wound.

"Huh? We removed the bullet right?"

"Yes. But it seems that the wound was hit by a hard object."

I didn't told Dra what really happened. "Oh."
