Love Shot

I slide off my robe and gently lay it on the trunk that's placed at the foot of the bed.

I'm left with just my pants on since after the bonding ceremony, which ended with us just laying in the water, we had only put back on our robes. Which meant for the rest of the ceremony we were left shirtless but it didn't seem like anyone minded all that much.

Even the elders didn't mind, rather they liked the thought that both of their leaders look so young and healthy. Some went as far to comment on how great we looked, and by we looked great, they meant our abs and they made that clear by pointing them out.

After that we got up from the water and Nahla dried us using her magic, everyone congratulated us and we all ate and danced, doing anything our hearts desired. Celebrating our bond that made us shine the whole time, making sure others even knew that we are now bonded.

Half the time I couldn't understand what people were saying, not even my friends. My mind was and still is too preoccupied with Taehyung.

I just can't believe it.

He's mine. All mine.

He was mine before but now it's more. We're connected and one now, with nothing to separate us. Of course the whole process isn't complete yet but that's why we're here now.

I walk out to the balcony to see Taehyung standing there, leaning on the railing, shirtless as well. His skin has a slight glow to it as the moonlight hits his body so perfectly making him shine and his features, such as his eyes, jaw, and just almost about everything, stick out more and seem a lot more intimidating.

I go up to him and hug his back, wrapping my arms around his waist and resting my head onto his shoulder. He instantly puts his hands on top of mine, leaning back towards me and we both chuckle happily.

I don't think I can properly explain how I feel at the moment. Even when we were bonding I couldn't describe it.

It's beyond happiness.

It's more than I have ever felt before. It's like so many emotions into one but I know that whatever it is, it's right and I love it because I'm sharing that feeling with Taehyung as well.

I look over his shoulder and look to see the waterfall and I feel my eyes widen a little from the sight, it's so beautiful.

"I didn't know this was here." I say as I continue to look at the beautiful moon lit scenery in front of us.

We're still on the island but somewhere a little further away from the palace. I wasn't sure where he was taking me at first but as we climbed the mountain little by little I started to see the house come into view and I was quite surprised that it was here.

I never knew that all of this was here. The house and the waterfall. I've only been confined to the place that I haven't ventured out to anywhere else.

"Only a few know about this house and this side of the island in general. Not everybody needs to know about this because it's our place." He turns around in my arms and once he does, he lays a gentle kiss to my forehead.

"I had this house prepared a while back. When your mom was pregnant with you that's when I got this built. I knew we were going to need a place away from anyone so that we can complete the bonding ceremony." I feel my cheeks redden with his last words and I look up at him with a small smile, trying not to think about it too much. Even though we'll be doing it very soon.

"I love it." I say as I lean in until I lay a gentle kiss to his lips.

When I try to pull away, he doesn't let me as he pulls me in closer for another kiss.
